Stayed May 30, 2026We loved this rental property. Mike was an excellent host and was easy to reach if we had needed him. We enjoyed the fireplace and the yard. On two of our four days there, we had deer come into the yard. It is also a short 1/4 stroll down the road to the South Cottonwood trailhead. I hiked the trail to the first bridge over Cottonwood Creek and saw a deer on the trail. I understand the trail cross-crosses the creek several more times and a seasoned hiker could hike 6 or 11 miles, respectively, to other mountain destinations. If ever in the area again (we are from the Texas coast) we will choose this cabin again as our Montana base!

Stayed May 12, 2026Very special place with great hiking trail right down the street. Great location for being out in the country and still having access to Bozeman and Big Sky area’s. Close proximity to the Bozeman airport. The host has been exceptionally accommodating. This is our second stay here and we will be back again

Stayed Oct 9, 2025Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was great. The kitchen was well equipped. We easily made breakfast every morning. The host was great. Good communications and very quick following my text questions. The cabin is charming and very comfortable. The yard was expertly manicured. The fire pit area is nice and very relaxing. The cabin is a few miles out of town but easily accessible. Its nice to be away from town when you just want to kick back.If you are going to Bozeman and want a great spot, give this spot a try.

Stayed Aug 31, 2024We loved our stay. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. The cabin was even better than expected. The attention to detail with the decorating was great. We loved the 'old' stove. The cozy blankets in the living room were a great touch. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit and patio as much as the cabin. The landscaping was immaculate! The cabin was perfect for our stay. There are horses in the adjoining pasture, that are friendly. They came right up to us at the fence. We would stay again.
