We have asthmatic family members and CANNOT have any smoke or pets in home. We live 4 hours away and use home when we are in the area. This open floor plan allows for a spacious kitchen, dining, and living area both upstairs and down. Located in each of the kitchens are two enormous wall-to-wall window-front bars equipped with a sink, dishwasher, and mini-fridge giving you a breathtaking view of the main channel while in use. br brRight off the bottom deck is an amazing 17,000-gallon heated saltwater pool with a swim-up edge overlooking the main channel. While you enjoy the pool, there are noodles and other pool toys located on the bottom deck for your convenience. Surrounding the pool you will have options to either lounge back in one of the cushioned sun chairs or lay out on the reclining pool chairs with friends and family. While Missouri has many warm and sunny days, we too have a summer season. The pool will be winterized from October to March, so please confirm with us if the pool will be open if you are planning to use it! While our pool is heated, if temps drop below 60 degrees it may not be able to keep the temps as toasty as one may want. However, our Jaccuzi Spa operates no matter what temperature it is. Our area is quiet on the street but this has become one of the hottest, most popular areas of the entire Lake! There's a full size washer and dryer located in a walk-in utility room right off the main living area and plenty of laundry detergent is also furnished. brbrSWIMMING:brbrThere is a LOT of water traffic in this area and because we are on the main channel and this is such a popular area on the water, we chose not to have a dock as we feel that the boat traffic on the water is too dangerous for swimmers with waves crashing against the concrete sea wall. It's also very damaging to docks and boats and a tremendous liability for homeowners. However, there is a public boat ramp only a few miles away at a state park with a beach area and there's swimming pools at Red Heads and at Margarettaville for the public, and all are within a 5 to 15 minute drive from us. brbrTHINGS TO DO:brbrFrom Big Surf Water Park (18 miles from us), to numerous restaurants, grocery stores, live entertainment, golf courses, go-carts, boat/jet ski rentals, wineries and a distillery, there's lots to do around us. Dagnell Dam strip is only a 20 minute drive from us that has an amusement park for all ages, along with shopping, eateries, etc. For the golfers, Oaks Golf Course is less than 10 minutes from us and you have to pass it to get to our home. brbrHOUSE POLICIES:brbrOur home is smoke free/vape free /marijuana free and the primary renter must be a minimum rental age of 25. Renters will be responsible if they or their guests violate this smoking rule and will be charged a hefty additional cleaning fee. If you are looking for a place to host a bachelorette/bachelor party or any other type of rowdy party, please book a different property. This is a family owned home that we utilize as well and it's intended for responsible guests and we appreciate your understanding.
