Nothing says Cape Cod more than our Seafood , lobsters and Steamers , fresh fish , scallops. If you can’t catch it , there are markets to provide some of the fruits of the ocean all over the Cape . The locals prefer the Forestdale Fish Market , bait and tackle store a few miles away but worth the trip . br The town of Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape , so there is a lot of history here , local glass museum , antique shops , old houses, Dexter mill at Shawme pond , Art Museums and the Heritage museum and activities center which is very close to Burbank st house . Always good for a day of adventure with kids . And of course there are plenty of beaches for exploring from hereSandwich beach and boardwalk to Sandy neck and all the way to Provincetown and back around the other side of the Cape .
