The living room, dining room, primary bedroom, and bunk room each have large picture windows looking out toward the Sawtooths so you can enjoy them from sunrise to sunset. The primary bathroom has a jetted tub with barn doors that open to the primary bedroom and look out toward the mountains. It is tastefully furnished with hand-made log beds and a 680 sq. ft. ironwood deck with a picnic table and benches.brbrThe property is a mecca for white water river rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, blue-ribbon fly-fishing, steelhead fishing, hunting, hiking, and horseback riding. There are over 60 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the winter and countless snowshoeing and cross country skiing areas. It is 10 minutes from Redfish Lake Lodge, offering boating, water skiing, canoeing, and swimming. This property is perfect for anyone who wants to get away from the city to relax and enjoy the outdoors and yet is an easy one-hour drive over beautiful Galena Pass to all the amenities and activities of Sun Valley.brbrThis home is available Year-round. We begin taking 5-night+ reservations for the following year’s season on November 1st. 3-night+ reservations are accepted after April 15th. Stays less than 3 nights are not accepted.brbrLocation: The home is located on a hillside inside the city limits of Stanley, making it a perfect location for walking into town to enjoy the local restaurants and bars. There are other homes on the hillside; however, their location to each other affords a great deal of privacy. The cabin is in a quiet location (2 miles off the highway) just 7 miles from Stanley Lake and 8 miles from Redfish Lake. Our 3-acre property is bordered by a stream and forest service property. The owners' residence and shop are also on the property. The Iron Creek Campground (which is the trailhead for Alpine and Sawtooth Lakes) is less than 5-minute drive from the cabin. The owners live in another house on the property and will be glad to discuss local attractions and hiking trails.

There is so much to do in Stanley, hiking, biking, horseback riding, 4 wheeling and white water rafting on the Salmon river. Redfish Lake is 5 minutes away. Redfish has boating, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding. There is a spacious deck that over looks the pond that is feed by Meadow Creek. Each room has its own bathroom, access to the deck and spectacular views.
