Fantastic location for exploring the Sawtooth NRA - we could never get tired of looking at that view from the deck and dining area. The cabin is very clean and comfortable, and very nicely decorated. A very large deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air and star gaze from. Gitta and her husband are great hosts. If we ever have the opportunity to visit this area again, we would definitely hope to stay here again.

Very nice location, close to Sawtooth Mtns. Lovely deck to sit out on & enjoy the scenery! Supplied with plenty of cooking spices/supplies, toilet paper/paper towels toiletry items for our stay. Host was super helpful, giving advise on hikes etc. & always responded right away. Definately a great place to stay for your Sawtooth Mountain experinece.

Nice cabin with three bedrooms and one bath. Everything you need and kitchen is well stocked. Comfortable beds and overall very clean cabin, and close to town, being in lower Stanley. Patio and deck area are off the front of the house, so some highway noise. Great views across the street with the river, horses and cattle grazing. We had a great stay!

I've been coming to Stanley for 30 years, and there's always been go-to favorite spots in Upper and Lower Stanley to stay—but this new find has easily been the best yet. It’s not just the unbeatable location—it’s the cabin itself. Every detail reflects the authentic Sawtooth experience.Gitta was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything was in perfect order for our stay. The cabin faces south with stunning views of the Salmon River, bald eagles soaring overhead, and antelope wandering nearby. It’s spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a big equipped kitchen, great bathroom and bedrooms, a large balcony that brings everyone together—especially around the generously sized grill. Everything is spacious and comfortable. The best of the Sawtooth summits are in plain sight. This was a highlight of our trip and is now my new go-to for a stay in Stanley.

My family and I could not have been happier with our stay here! From the beginning when I first booked, until we left yesterday, everything was perfect. In all my years of booking through VRBO, communication with Gitta was the best I’ve ever experienced from any host, anywhere I have ever stayed, She her husband were so helpful with anything we needed as well as giving us suggestions and advice on places to visit around the area. The house was stocked with everything that we could’ve ever needed. And the view from the deck… it’s hard to put into words the beauty that was all around us! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anybody who may be looking to visit Stanley

We had a wonderful stay! The host was super helpful as we were planning our stay and made great recommendations for meals and activities. A beautiful view even we were relaxing at home in the evenings.

Excellent place in a beautiful location with great views of the Salmon River and Sawtooth Mountains. You'll spend most of your time on the deck! Very comfortable cabin and the owners are very accommodating and friendly. Roomy kitchen and living area with everything you need. Beds and rooms are very comfortable. Not an issue for our group but make sure you're aware it's a single bathroom for the cabin. Also, it is a little out of downtown Stanley not right in town if that matters. I would definitely stay here again.
