Recreate in our historical 1100 SF, “diamond in the rough,” log cabin with all the comforts of home. Our rustic log cabin sets you back in time, but with all the modern amenities. It nests on 13.5 acres, a ¼ mile from majestic Lake Coeur d’Alene to the public dock. We currently offer for five or more day winter-time stays December-March, two passes to Silver Mountain ski resort or swim park, your choice for one day; you must request this at the time you reserve your travel. Enjoy summertime swimming, fishing, boating, trail hikes, eagle viewing, and huckleberry picking. Summer is almost over. Enjoy hitting the ski slopes in winter, hunting the Coeur d'Alene forest 2.5 miles away, renting a fishing boat to pick-up in Carlin Bay just 3 miles away, and year-around pleasure and relaxation sitting around the fire pit or inside fire place connecting with family and friends. This is the perfect place for the outdoorsman. This gem is hidden in a remote location, but is only a 20-30 minute scenic drive to Coeur d’Alene, 18 miles to historical Harrison, and just a 35 minute drive to slopes and 40 minute jaunt to historical, “Center of the Universe,” Wallace. Silverwood is a quick 45-minute drive and Triple Play is less. If you’re looking for solitude, relaxation on the country porch and evenings gathering around the wood fire pit or soaking in the spa looking at the stars, this is the ultimate escape! We do require a two-night minimum stay.

Guests are welcome to sign into personal Netflix, Hulu or Disney Plus accounts.brbrGames & puzzles are located in the coffee table in the main floor living room.brbrThere is a kitchenette in the basement, but it is not stocked with cookware. All of the cookware is located in the main kitchen.brbrThe cabin is located about an hour from Coeur d'Alene & 45 minutes from St Maries. We recommend going grocery shopping before you come here as these are the nearest towns with big grocery stores. There is also a small grocery store in Harrison, if you need to pick up a few items while here.brbrPlease note, we do have wildlife, livestock, tractors, dogs, and birds that may make some noise occasionally.brbrThere is no cell service at the cabin, but there is high speed wifi you can use to text or call. There is also a wifi phone provided.brbrDuring the winter, we recommend AWD or 4WD. While we plow & gravel the roads on the ranch, the roads getting to the ranch may be snowy & slippery.brbrSkiing is located nearby at Silver Mountain, an hour away, Lookout Pass, an hour and a half away, or Schweitzer Mountain, two hours away.brbrThe property borders the Coeur d'Alene National Forrest, which is over 700,000 acres & boasts miles of hiking, biking, dirt bike, ATV & snowmobile trails.brbrPlease contact us if you would like a tour of the ranch during your stay.
