There are no neighbors, and the connected manor house is not open to the public - when in residence, the owner's family is respectful of your privacy and serenity.brbrbrbrYour guest house was designed for privacy from the adjacent manor house. The great room lets the towering forest view come into through carefully arraigned windows and skylights. One step outside brings you to an outdoor room, a spacious deck dappled in sunlight and shade throughout the day, great for bird watching and occasional game sighting, dining, reading, or just plain lounging. An acre of park-like towering forest glen just off the deck is for you exclusively, and a path leads down to a satellite deck with filtered views up and down Lake Coeur d'Alene. The newly renovated wrap-around deck provides spectacular views of the lake and beautiful sunsets.brbrThe Loft En Suite has a king bed and jetted tub. Main floor bedroom has full/ twin bunk-bed with additional twin-size pull-out trundle and adjoining full bath. Ground level bedroom has a queen bed and adjoining full bath. There is also a queen-size sofa-sleeper in the living area on the main floor that has a comfy memory foam mattress. And a twin-size day bed nestled in the corner of the main floor living area.brbrThe king and queen beds have plush foam-over-spring mattresses. The bunk beds have memory foam mattresses. brbrThe fully complemented kitchen has plenty of storage space for food and supplies, and a large granite-topped island providing plenty of room for food preparation and serving. Dining table seats 8 and there is additional seating at the high-top table and the kitchen island. An outdoor gas grill is also provided just outside the kitchen door on the newly renovated deck.brbrOn the lake side of the house is a secluded sitting area with a propane fire table where you can enjoy the view and perhaps a glass of wine after a day on the lake or exploring local backroads and trails. brbrWe recently installed StarLink satellite internet service (June 2024). Back-up service is provided by a Verizon mobile hot-spot. Verizon signal is excellent. All cell providers' signals are boosted with a We-Boost unit.brbrThere is a public beach and boat launch next to the Carlin Bay Marina, providing easy access to the lake within a 3-minute drive (about a 10-minute walk). Refinished 1911 hardwood floors, refinished original deck, even the original sink was painted and reinstalled. Lots of character but some issues such as the bathroom sink drains slowly, and the water pressure in the shower isn't the best. Perfect for families looking to enjoy Lake CDA!
