The Henry's Fork Ranch offers guests 2 miles of private access to the renowned Henry's Fork of the Snake River. This section of river is very wadable or floatable, but most important , 80% of the fish caught off our banks measure 16 inches or more. The ranch is a 500 acre working cattle ranch that caters to the outdoor enthusiast. Ranch activities include fly fishing, bird watching, waterfowl hunting, sight seeing, relaxing, and cross country skiing. Since we offer one solitary cabin, you'll share the ranch with the host, cattle, horses and sheep, but no other guests.brbrbrFishing on the Henry's Fork: The Henry's Fork of the Snake River is open year round for fishing. Most anglers prefer to fish with flies but the river allows rod casting as well. This stretch of the river is designated as a wild fishery so it has limits and restrictions. The fishery is very healthy and big Rainbow and Brown Trout are the norm for anglers.brbrHenry's Fork Ranch is in the middle of it all: The Henry's Fork Ranch is centrally located near many of the areas major attractions. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are within a short drive. There is also Jackson Hole Wyoming, West Yellowstone and St. Anthony Sand Dunes. This adorable 1920 home is located on a quiet street and only a couple blocks from downtown Ashton and the Henry's Fork Foundation. Be on the the Henry's Fork, Fall and Warm Rivers within minutes from this cozy Cottage. The home has been very loved and cared for through the years. It's clean with updates throughout. It's a peaceful place to stay with all that you would need for a nice and pleasant stay on your way to enjoy the great outdoors! Pets are welcome. $25 per night pet fee.brbrThere are two bedrooms. One room has a queen sized bed the other room has bunk beds with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. There's also a pull out couch that can sleep one to two people. The dinning room table can seat 4-6 people. The bathroom is accessed through the bunk room. The front enclosed patio has two chairs and side table plus bench. Great spot to sit and watch storms roll through. There is a deck off the back door with BBQ and table that seats 4. There is also a washer and dryer in the backroom off the kitchen.brbrGuests have full access to the main level living area and yard. The basement is closed to the utility room.brbrYou can message or call with any questions.brbrLocated on a quite street in the south east corner of the town of Ashton. This historic street is famous in the town for having the best Halloween decorations and large mature trees all around. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming to visitors. If you walk a short distance down the road to the east maybe about a 100 yards you can see the Tetons at the dead end.brbrPlenty of parking in the front of the house for 2-3 vehicles or a vehicle with a trailer. There are good restaurants in town and the 511 Pizza place is our favorite. The Trails Inn, Frost Stop and Big Jud's are also good choices nearby in Ashton. The Mad Moose Pizza Restaurant off highway 20 towards St Anthony is also really good and we eat there often. If you want something more fancy and on the river you can drive about 20 minutes north on hwy 20 to the Trout Hunter Bar & Grill and its also one of our favorites, but it can get a little busy so get there early. It's right on the Henry's Fork River. It's a nice drive and you might see wildlife in the mornings and evenings.brbrThere is a $25 per day for each pet.
