Lindas Perch sits high atop a bank overlooking Henrys Fork. Spectacular views include the Grand Tetons, local Golden Eagles and Peregrine falcons fishing the abundant waters.

Once a year there is a cherished event in the area. The Stonefly makes it's annual appearance and the trout go crazy! Locals have enjoyed this phenomenon for years, now you can be part of it at our newest property in Ashton Idaho. This secluded property on almost 6.5 acres is worth the extra effort to access. Local services include boat rentals, guide service, and float trips on the Snake River and adjoining Henry's Fork!

This is a truly World Class fishing environment but don't disregard the birding, hiking, sightseeing, and close proximity to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons. Snake River provides early season fishing due to its natural warm springs that bring it alive way ahead of neighboring waters. While you're at it, plan a day to tour the Upper and Lower Mesa Falls, or take a hike up to the headwaters of the Snake River and enjoy the natural hot springs. Lodge provides a uniquely different location, spectacular views, secluded setting yet close to all services and local amenities.

PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON CHILDREN, AS THIS IS ON A CLIFFSIDE. SEE PICTURES FOR FURTHER CLARITY.

That title came from our 8 year old grandson. But all 7 of us thought that way. We live in a 150 year old farm house in Missouri with animals all around us. We felt like we were in our homestead. But with a much different landscape. The view can not be matched anywhere. We saw moose and many bald eagles. The boys caught an abundance of fish and the girls got their horse rides in. Your library seemed to be hand picked for us. The scope gave us so much fun. We watched the bald eagle catch fish and then take a bath. As matriarch of the family I loved your decor and the warm feeling my little group got the moment we walked through the door. We’ve stayed in many homes for family vacations but Linda’s perch was best.

Wow! What a view! Such a cute cabin with everything you would need. A friend and I came and stayed here after a backpacking trip. I give this place 5 stars BUT there were SO many bugs. Mostly stink bugs and black flies. Came home to about 15 bugs flying around my room. The other thing is, just be prepared to buy firewood and make a fire to keep the house warm as there is no heat downstairs. This all being said, I just want my review to be fair to other people who are bothered by those kinds of things. We had a fantastic time and the cabin was cozy and comfortable.

Perfect getaway break from Teton and Yellowstone park days. Secluded, 365 degree views, wildlife, well supplied cabin. If you need a quiet break and enjoy natural surroundings this is the place. Pictures in ad are true. Make sure to get groceries before hitting cabin, Ashton a very small but friendly town. Also recommend taking Fisherman Dr all the way along the river, it connects back up to Hwy 47. Enjoy, hit both Mesa Falls on 47 too. I'll be your Huckleberry.

The cabin and location was just described in the listing. The view is like no other. My husband and I felt instantly relaxed and at home the moment we arrived. It was the perfect place for peace and solitude to recharge and spend time together. We barely left the cabin other than to do some local fishing. We are already talking about coming back next year. The hosts were great! Informative and very quick in responding. Great place!

Linda’s Perch was an amazing rustic cabin with views of the river and Tetons. We got some amazing pictures from the sunrises and sunsets. We managed the temperature inside by opening windows at night and closing the house up during the day. There were some nice breezes flowing through. The amenities were as described. It’s a little ways from Yellowstone, but we thought it was worth the drive.
