Secluded Lakefront Log Cabin, Wildlife and Fishing Paradise, Pet Friendly

I believe this was our 10th trip to Burt's cabin. We absolutely love to stay here & we feel right at home. Burt is very communicative & I feel like he is an old family friend. His place is peaceful & serene. I love that it is off the beaten path & the privacy is unsurpassed.

Burton is an excellent host. Property was as described and exactly what we were looking for. It has all the amenities described and everything was in working order. We had a great time using the boats on the lake. And our tris to Yellowstone and the Tetons were great. So thankful for Burton’s suggestion of a back way into the NPs because on one of our trips we had a black bear cross in front of us.Look forward to a future stay!Take note in the description as it is a gravel road to get to the property. This did not takeaway from our stay but it does add time to travel.

Burt’s cabin is a slice of heaven, clean air, wild life, great fishing, relaxing. Loved our stay, Burt is a great host.

My family stayed at the cabin for the second time and we were not disappointed. We caught trophy sized trout like last year and the cabin/weather were great. We went to Yellowstone and saw all sorts of wildlife. Burt made sure we had everything we needed.

Our stay included visiting Yellowstone one day and The Tetons another. Mesa Falls was a close visit as was Harriman State Park. On our odd days, we were able to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the lake while kayaking and fishing. Never a dull moment.

This was our second stay at the lake cabin. It is a very peaceful place to come back to. The fishing was good. Burt the property owner was very helpful. We'll do our best make a 3rd stay in the future!

We are five star cabin folks. Burt's cabin has it all and more. Beautiful cabin in secluded spot several yards from a private relaxing lake plum full of large trout waiting to snatch up your bait. We stayed for two weeks watching bald eagles, ducks, pelicans, deer, humming birds and strolling the majestic lake at sunset. The area has countless adventures for those who desire exploring, hiking, breath taking scenery and nights out with good food near by. Best hidden vacation hideout in Idaho. Ten years and it's still our favorite relaxing cabin get away!!!

Beautiful property. Owner had everything available you would need from water activities, to household/kitchen, to indoor entertainment. The directions on the dirt road were easy to follow. Wonderful stay.

The property was even better than the pictures. We wanted quiet and secluded and that’s exactly what we got. Loved every second of our 3 night stay.

We had issues accessing the cabin due to problems with the road. Thankful for Burt’s help with those issues. The cabin is stunningly beautiful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake, row boat, canoe, swimming, fishing, etc. Lovely place.

We loved the calm seclusion of this “On Golden Pond” retreat. There was ample room for 4 adults and our dog with room for more. Had a great time at a wonderful vacation. Caught lots of rainbow trout, saw bald eagles and went to Yellowstone. Our family had a great time.

It is a very quiet cabin that was spotless. It is down a 20 minute gravel road. Very peaceful.

This cabin fit all of our needs. Perfect location to access muti national parks and road trips. Ashton ID was a nice city. The cabin it self was very comfortable, sized well great kitchen, bathrooms and beds. nice property each access to the lake to enjoy fishing , nature. we liked it so much we wanted to ask the owner if we could buy it and stay and never return to Florida. Burt was very helpful always there if we had an issue or questions. We are already thinking of booking another trip with him. Thank you.
