It is a 2 Bedroom home with the Master Bedroom having an oversized King sized California Bed. This room has a 12 foot wide glass sliding door directly facing the Ocean. The second bedroom has a queen bed. This 2nd bedroom room has a large 6 foot by 4 foot window for views of the Ocean also. In addition it has another 6 foot x 2 foot window for mountain views. The house has 7 separate sliding glass doors which capitalize on it's stunning ocean views. Appliances are all brand new.. The cabinets in the kitchen were custom designed and built for the home. Finally the best way to describe our home is to simply let our previous guests who have stayed there do it for us. It has been almost 7 years since we built the home brand new and have we have been renting it. We have had numerous guests over the years and everyone so far has been very happy with the home and our communications and tips that we give them. The property is also close to renowned Two Steps and directly across the bay from the historical Captain Cook Monument. It is incredibly private and far enough from the hustle and bustle of the town of Kailua Kona to truly relax. br This absolutely one of a kind property comfortably sleeps 6 adults. There are 3 king size beds and one pull out queen. There are 3 freshly remodeled full bathrooms. And a brand new kitchen. We also have 2 comfortable roll away beds for extra guests for a additional fee. There are two safes for valuables as well.br The house is located on a private road. There is a 9 p.m. noise ordinance for the neighborhood. Noise travels very easily in the bay, you might not see people but you can still hear them. You can always go inside if you want to stay up later. br As you come in through the entryway the open tropical style of the place will immediately hit you. The archway through the living room provides uninterrupted views of the bay and the setting sun. The spacious living room provides sleeping space with a king size murphy bed and a full bath. The two master bedrooms both have king size beds which also have incredible views of the bay. But the best part of the house are the unique bathrooms with epic views of the ocean. The fully stocked kitchen is indoor/outdoor and completely modern. Sitting around the island stove preparing a dinner in a group and watching the sunset over the Pacific was a highlight for all the guests we have had.br The property is located in a very quiet and private area at the bottom of beautiful Kealakekua Bay overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is an easy scenic twenty minute ride to the town of Kailua Kona, where you can find many options for restaurants and entertainment. The closest supermarket to the house is called Choice Mart, it's about a ten minute drive from the house, they have good local produce and local fresh fish.br There is a cat that has made the property her home and is the most affectionate animal ambassador we could hope for. She is an outdoor cat but very friendly and she loves people. We have a feeding station set up for her in the kitchen and we provide food for her. Unwind and relax from city life. House is an an hour south of Kona and one hour ten minutes south of the Kona airport. It is one hour ten minutes to volcano from the house. Shop before you come as nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away.Two bedroom with multiple beds, three baths, We are in a lovely location with outstanding ocean views and nearby water sports! Descend a paved road 12 minutes to the house from mile marker 89 and enjoy what I believe are the best views on the island!. A large Lanai runs the length of the house for dolphin and whale watching. Have dinner on a beautiful 600 foot Lanai and watch the incredible sunsets and enjoy coastal breezes. There are many fans in the house but there isn't air conditioning. Go one and half blocks to water access for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving and fishing. Also,it's great to walk around the neighborhood. Bedwise, there is a king bed in the master and one queen beds in the house and one queen sleeper sofa plus a futon.There is a foldout mattress plus an airbed mattress in the toy closet. Also, there is an ocean view from the kitchen and you can sit on the couch and see the ocean. Sunsets are phenomenal and different every night. There is a barbecue on top deck. There's a king bed in the upstairs master! There is a washer and dryer in the gameroom and extra small fridge by the tiki bar. the nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away so many travelers stop at Costco as it is by the Kona airport on the way down. There is a supermarket at mile marker 77 and gas station, too.House is a good hour ten south of airport at mile marker 89. The views of the Pacific ocean are sensational and I never get tried of seeing as I descend from 1200 feet to sea level. Please conserve on water and electricity as Hawaii has the nations top rates. There's a nice ocean breeze often at the house but there isn't AC at the house nor do most homeowners in Hawaii have it. We saw a turtle the size of a volkswagon off one of the cliffs in the area and the snorkeling at the swimming hole is great! The swimming hole is a two minute walk away- go to Kai street and turn right. This is where you put in the kayaks or take them into the village of Milolii. There is internet and Netflix so the TV is great! My favorite thing is reading a book on the chaise lounge on the deck or going down to the swimming hole to swim and snorkel. Downstairs in the outside closet is everything you would ever need- coolers, beach mats, beach toys, snorkeling masks and equipment, life jackets,, chairs. Please rinse off anything outside you borrow and put back in the toy shed. Boogie boards and other toys are in outside toy closet. Please keep orderly..brbrThe Milolii area is famous for deep sea fishing, and you can watch the fishing boats or go out yourself. The beautiful secluded Honomolino Beach is close by-short walk along the coast from Milolii State Park-watch the spinner dolphins, snorkel with the fish in the coral, and maybe see a sea turtle or a rare Hawaiian monk seal.There are fishermen phone numbers in the guest guide on the desk.brbrFrom Kona airport go south on Highway 11 towards Kailua and continue on towards the 89 mile marker, turn right on Milolii Road. Go about three miles, turn right on to Ewalu Avenue drive down the road to Waenea Avenue turn left. Drive to third intersection which is Elima Avenue, turn right and go a half block to a tan house left hand side which is 88-1555. brbrbrFrom Hilo airport go on Highway 11 north for about two hours till you come to the sign that reads Milolii. Turn left by the sign drive three miles down the road to Ewalu Avenue, turn right drive down to the stop sign to Waenea Avenue turn left. Drive to the third intersection and turn right on Elima Avenue. Go a half block to a tan house left hand side of the road which is 88-1555. Hawaii Spinner dolphins visit Kealakekua Bay

A rare find at the beach! Just painted April 2026. Dolphins come in often and swim me while I am out playing in the Bay. The Ohana-guest apartment for rent is on the GROUND floor. It is completely separate from the two floors where I live upstairs. You can walk down the street to enter Kealakekua Bay where you swim in the nourishing crystalline blue water. Or walk 5 minutes the other direction to snorkel/swim, enjoy many species of marine fishes, turtles at Manini beach. Sleep to the lullaby of ocean waves. Two other beloved swim spots, Honaunau Bay is 10 minutes and County Park Ho'okena is 20 minutes drive away. My Ohana is spacious (600 s.f. =56 sq. m.). I just added a deck on the ground level for you:) A 12'x16' lanai on the second floor with spectacular ocean view is also available for guests. It has one bedroom with a comfortable Queen size bed. In the living room, one futon pull down to a 50 in. bed and a Queen size Sealy air bed available by request. All with 100% cotton bedding. The kitchenette has more cookware than you will ever use. Floor laminate installed in July 2021. My place is chemical free. I will assist you in every way possible so that you enjoy your time on the Big Island. The road that connect my house to highway 11 was paved last year!!! see photo. Once you turn off Mamalahoa Hwy, you will ride smoothly for ten minutes to come to my house. Smooth road is uncommon on the Big Island unless you stay at a resort. Internet access is by Fiber Optics, super fast: 500 Mbps Download, 340 Mbps Upload. The posted rate is for 2 persons per day. Brand new construction, just completed in February 2017.brbrEnjoy lounging on the lanai with a high table and 4 chairs looking out at the waves crash against the shore, beautiful sunsets, watch the whales play and breeching in the bay while you BBQ dinner and star gaze at night.brbrLess than 5 minutes from the house is the rock which offers some of the best snorkeling and swimming on the Big Island. There is a state beach park about 10 minutes down the road, the speed limit in the neighborhood is on island time, 15mph. A 20min walk to Honomalino Bay is a must when here, it is a secluded black sand beach. Often you find that you'll be the only ones there!!! How exciting to have a black sand beach all to yourselves and so close. The hike over is beautiful, through a bit of jungle and across a few lava fields. Miloli'i is also only 60 miles from the Volcano National Park, so on the big island that would be a day trip. And South Point just down the road from there offers up one of the most beautiful green sand beaches in the world, seas that have come from Antarctica, and the most southern bakery in the USA, with wonderful pastries. Up the hill and 10 miles north towards Kona you can find some other wonderful beaches, Ho’okena, home to a pod of spinner dolphins and the occasional whale, offers snorkeling, kayak rentals, a small food vendor, clean bathrooms, and outdoor fresh water showers. 10 more miles north is The Place of Refuge at Pu'uhonua o Honaunau State Park, also known as Two Step. Amazing snorkeling here and sun bathing. There is a bit of shade and a few picnic tables. brbrOur neighborhood is strictly residential, the nearest store and gas station are about 20-25mins from the house, in Oceanview, which is south of Miloli'i.
