While you can easily and happily spend most of your vacation time on the property and at the beach in front the home, just around the corner is Waimea Bay, where you can take part in the tradition of cliff jumping in the summer or watch the monster waves roll in during the winter. A bike path is accessible near the home that leads to coffee stands, shops, and other beaches in the area. You can rent a stand-up paddleboard in Haleiwa and float along the Anahulu Stream for a laid-back adventure. Finally, visit the shops and restaurants in historic Haleiwa town, including Matsumoto’s for their famous shaved ice and Giovanni`s Shrimp Truck where you can get a dozen jumbo shrimp cooked just the way you like it.brbrA car is recommended.
