Grounds are well kept with all sorts of greenery; palms, pink and red ginger flowers, red and green ti leaf plants, plumeria and vibrant shrubs adding to the Hawaiian feel. The complex is outfitted with two elevators: one front and center to the complex, the other one at the west end of parking lot. Stairwells are located next to each elevator. Trash is located on the west end of the complex, with each floor having a trash shoot next to the westward elevator. A common seating area in the middle of the complex leads out to a sprawling green lawn that runs right up to the ocean where you can watch for feeding turtles, the occasional surfer, and whales depending on the season (the whales visit our island between the months of December- mid-April). Grounds include a spacious, gated pool and community gas grill area for Maalaea Kai guests and residents to use and enjoy. At night, this complex is lit with tropical tiki torches to take you back to the old Hawaiian days.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!br Voted coolest camper van on Maui by our renters! brDee-Zel Washington is a super cool 1992 Mitsubishi Delica JDM Camper Van that I imported from Japan. He sleeps two super comfortably. I also have a two person tent and air mattress for rent. Deezel has four seats. He has a Turbo Diesel engine and is right hand drive, don’t worry Dee-zel is super easy to drive and has a automatic transmission. br Deezel has all the comforts of home and comes complete with everything you need tobrCamp comfortably. brbrBring nothing but your clothes as Dee-Zel has everything you need to have a great trip. brFeel free to ask any questions that you may have. brDee-zel is a 92 Mitsubishi Delica 4WD Japanese import camper van. Dee-zel has a turbo Diesel engine and is right hand drive but is very easy to drive takes a few minutes to be comfortable driving him. There is only one place on island where he is not allowed to go and that is Haleakala hwy from the bottom to the top of the mountain, His motor is too small and not powerful enough to go up Haleakala. I will know if you try and you are responsible for any and all damages done to Dee-zel. If you drive the road to Hana including the back side (I don’t recommend that you drive the backside) you are on your own and again responsible for any and all damages. I can not come to help you if you break down in Hana or the backside. No cell service there. Please drive him with care and respect treat him better than your own vehicle please. He’s vintage and in immaculate condition and I would like it to stay that way for myself and others to enjoy. br He has everything you need to camp. Comes with sheets, towels, Beach chairs, coffee press, pillows, blanket, plates, utensils, 4 gallon roof shower, awning, refrigerator (no ice needed), pots, pans, Coleman stove which doubles as a grill, with one can of fuel others available for a nominal fee, 10 gallons of water for dishes etc (not for drinking), portable sink, dish soap, hand soap, 1 roll paper towels, camping table, machete, hatchet, apple, android carplay stereo and more. br We also have many items to rent. We are struggling like most businesses to find good people to work. Our cleaners are essential workers and they have been through so much especially during the pandemic. They help us clean and serve all our guests to ensure a sanitary and safe room. They would greatly appreciate it if you have the time when vacating to remove any rubbish and throw it into the green dumpster to the left front of the building.
