It is well maintained and has just been recently updated with new appliances, new tile floors downstairs and completely painted inside. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen has everything you need. brbrThe upstairs features two large bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a pillow top queen size bed. Both bedrooms have HD TV as does the large family room upstairs that opens up into the kitchen with an entrance onto the screened in porch. Our kitchen offers everything you need if you prefer to cook, including a new gas grill on the porch. There is a full size bathroom with a tub/shower upstairs.brbrDownstairs has another family room with HD TV so adults and children can each have their privacy. There is a third large bedroom with a double bed and a twin bunk on top, as well as a full bathroom and laundry room. The couch downstairs is a convertable queen size bed as well.brbrTybee Island was originally called, the 'Savannah Beach' and for good reason. It's only 15-20 minutes from downtown Savannah. You can enjoy the beach all summer long or tour the island on the Tybee Shuttle. Our home is less than five minutes to the nearest boat ramp, shopping, and plenty of restaurants with fresh local seafood. If you can't bring your boat, there are plenty of fishing charters available. There's no way you won't enjoy your stay. Our home is a 3 minute walk to the beach with the beautiful sand dunes.brbrYou should make definite plans to venture into beautiful Historic Savannah. River Street is an absolute must with shopping and award winning cuisine. There you can watch some of the worlds largest container ships sail right by you on the Savannah River literally only hundreds of feet away. If the other units are occupied, the dock and outdoor amenities will be shared with guests.brEach unit has its separate entryway and exit and locked doors. brbrThe history behind the home: Several years ago, my husband and I purchased this home. The previous owners had divided the site into 4 separate spaces complete with separate entries. Our initial thought was to convert the property back to 1 whole space sans the divisions. We however soon found that to do so would involve essentially tearing the structure down and starting over as these renovations would require that we bring the building up to current code. This home is pre- 1970's and because of the nostalgia and charm of the place, we decided to leave it as is for now. Having said this, there are quirks to the property including slower drains, and some nostalgic flooring dating. to the 1970's. We personally. love the. character or the place and hope you will enjoy it as well!
