You will really enjoy the fire pit in the evenings located in the center of the driveway. It's the perfect place to sit at night and roast marshmallows. The wood burning fireplace in the living room is great on cold winter evenings as well.brbrThe property adjoins the national forest and affords you the chance to get some great views of the local wildlife. Deer can frequently be seen from the screened in porch in the morning when you are starting your day with a cup of coffee. Bears also frequent the are quite regularly. It is recommended that you do not leave trash unsecured outside and that you keep the gates locked to the deck. The bears will stay away from people, but usually can't resist getting into unattended trash or food!

Our road is gravel, and our driveway is somewhat steep. We have paved tire paths up both sides of the driveway, with a gravel parking area at the top, where the EV charger is located. Most standard vehicles are fine, however AWD or 4WD is recommended, especially in rainy or winter weather. brbrWe want all guests to feel comfortable during their stay. Please be aware that accessing the cabin requires climbing a full flight of exterior stairs to the front door. As a result, the home is not wheelchair accessible and may not be the best fit for guests with mobility limitations.brbrPrior to your stay, we require you to agree to our Rental Conditions and complete our Pre-Arrival form.
