Restin’ on the Ridge – Perfect Mountain Getaway for Family and Friends

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Restin’ on the Ridge over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The property is private (neighbors close by but not really visible from the property, is an easy 6 miles from Helen, and even closer to Anna Ruby Falls. There was plenty of room for six people and a dog to spread out and relax. We had a beautiful sunrise view of the mountains off the back deck (might not be visible in the summer when the trees have leaves) and saw deer in the woods a few times. We did a decent amount of cooking while there and were surprised that almost all needed kitchen tools, bowls and containers were available. A chef’s knife was about the only thing we found lacking. Temperatures outside were cold in the morning during our stay, and we found the noise from the heat pump (loud air blowing) a little overwhelming at times, especially in the main floor bedroom. We eventually covered the vent with an extra pillow, which muffled it. Beyond that we really loved our stay at this property and would definitely stay again and recommend to others. It was very cozy and we loved all the separate areas that we could utilize and relax in.

We loved Restin' On The Ridge! We booked the stay because it was close to Helen and we were heading to Octoberfest but honestly,we loved Sautee Nagoochi so much more! The cabin was in a central location,close to Helen and Sautee Nagoochi. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fieplace. If you go check out Helen,Anna Ruby Falls,The nearby covered bridge and the Sautee Nagoochi arts district which has the oldest general store in Georgia. We loved having breakfast at The Sweet Water Cafe. Harvest and Habersham for dinner was amazing. Communication with Georgia Mountain Realty was great. will definitely be back!

Wish there were some stuff supplied such as laundry soap and some cleaning supplies but no big deal.

The booking process was such a headached they where trying to say that we were considered local

Our family had a wonderful stay. The Home met all of our expectations. From the beautiful views and natural light to the privacy and quiet to the very accommodating levels of the home. We enjoyed the Horseshoes game, Corn Hole, walking the property, inside games and of course the Hot Tub. Georgia Mountain Rentals we’re excellent to work with. We are already planning a return trip!

We really loved the deck around the front and one side of the house with the deck fencing, gates at the stairs and wheelchair access were perfect for having little kids and our dogs with us. We all enjoyed some hot tubbing, it was great after a day of hiking. This was just a short little weekend getaway, we ran out of time before getting around to enjoying the firepit and making s'mores. It is a nice area though and the view of the mountains is enjoyable.

We loved our stay at “Restin’ on the Ridge”. It was so comfortable from the beds to the furniture to the hot tub. We had one day that was rainy, but the openness of the cabin kept you from feeling closed in. We utilized the fireplace at night- it was toasty warm. We grilled on the deck- the cooking amenities were perfect. We recovered from theYonah vertical race in the hot tub. Thanks for being a wonderful host.

It met all of our needs for comfort and peace. Once here, we did not have to leave. It had everything we needed and more. From the minute we walked through the door, we knew had found the perfect place. Being able to watch the sunrise from either inside or out is one of the best features of this cabin. And being able to bring our furbabies was a huge plus! The customer service and ease of booking goes above and beyond. We will definitely be back.
