Driftwood Bistro is my sister's favorite restaurant and is on Jekyll island (I think it's good too).brbrCumberland Island is also extremely interesting to visit. You have to make a reservation to ride the boat over. It is a bit of a drive from SSI but well worth it. They have wild horses and other wildlife. Also some really rich family used to own the island. Think it was the Carnegies. I would recommend you take the guided tour. It is a little pricey but so interesting. brbrDeep sea fishing - lots of charters that you can catch at the marina or the pier (we have not done this though).brbrDowntown Brunswick. Lots of cute restaurants and shops and they have made a bunch of films there. Very interesting.brbrFinally, the Island is very fun to explore. You may just decide to stay on the Island to be quite honest.
