This treehouse can sleep up to4guests but is well suited for 2 guests as there is no bedroom door.This is a place to relax, unwind and get inspired. brbr brbrIt features reclaimed wood from a furniture store that was over 100 years old such astheheart pine floors, hand crafted bed andladder to the loft bedroom.The antique oak door with original doorbell,was repurposed from an 1890’s farmhouse out of Macon, GA. As you can see, a lot of love went into this one-of-a-kind treehouse and we hope it brings our guests joy and peacefulness. Located on the property is an old pottery studio formerly known as Rising Fawn Pottery. Rising Fawn Pottery was founded by Charles Counts who was a well known American potter, quilter and teacher, whose work has been featured in the Smithsonian and other well-known museums. Included in your stay is access to the pottery studio. You will find handmade pottery on display as well as a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. The pottery studio is stocked with crafting materials that you are welcomed to use to create your very own memento. This rental is not suitable for pets or children under the age of 12. Location: This cabin is located in a rural mountain community off of Scenic HWY in Rising Fawn, GA. This property sits ON the bluff, therefore there is a steep drop off with rocks below the house. There is a section of wood railing with a small trail leading to a gorgeous overlook below the house. The railing is old and cannot be trusted. Young kids will need to be watched at ALL times outside and please do not leave them unattended.br2. Parking: There is room to park 4 large vehicles at this property and a gravel road that leads to the property. Low clearance vehicles are not advised at this property due to the gravel driveway. br3. Grill: There is a gas grill onsite with propane.br4. Pets: NO pets allowed please and thank you. br5. Indoor Fireplace: This fireplace is not operable and does not work. brbrHOT TUB: brPlease advise!! Hot tub maintenance is very important and it's some thing that we take very seriously in between guest reservations. If the hot tub has to be dumped for sanitary and health safety reasons on a turnover day when the property is booked back to back, it may take 8-12 hours for it to reach high temps. We do the best we can to be proactive with this but ultimately it is out of our control to make the hot tub heat up faster. Health and safety for our guests is very important to us. Only a 20 minute drive to the park, 5 minutes from dollar general to get the necessities and 15-20 minutes to restaurants. Originally our plan was to stay in the park but it was booked so we stayed at the cabin instead. I’m so glad we did. Summer months are wonderful for enjoying the many species of butterflies. brbrWhile at the cottage, you'll feel like you're a million miles away, yet, you're conveniently located to the attractions of Chattanooga, Chickamauga and Lookout Mountain. Majestic views of the valley and incredible sunsets are a short walk from the property. The Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding launch site) is just at the end of the driveway. Rock City, Ruby Falls, Point Park and beautiful Cloudland Canyon State Park are all within a short drive.brbrWell behaved dogs are welcome, but no more than two are allowed. No aggressive dogs and no dogs that bark a lot. Dogs cannot be left unattended in cottage unless in a crate and must be own a leash when walked. They must be walked along the driveway and not allowed to use the backyard as a bathroom, its too small a space. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Prior permission must be obtained.brbrPlease Note: Do not use gps to locate driveway, it's inaccurate. Instead, use the directions below and make sure you see the correct 3 mailboxes at the end of the driveway. brbr7122 Scenic Highway will be the first driveway on the left just past the Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding)when heading south/southeast on Scenic Highway. As a result, there is no television available at this location. However, we do provide Wi-Fi so you can stay connected if needed. brbrPlease note that indoor smoking, parties, and events are prohibited at our property, and all guests staying overnight must be listed during the booking process.brbrThe Haven Bin is conveniently located 6 miles away from Cloudland Canyon State Park, Canyon Grill and Family Dollar.
