Imagine you are going to visit your bohemian friend for a few days and a room was prepared in an artistic quirky way just for you to set your muses free. This is what a stay in the Eagles Nest and Blue Dream Cabin at MyLandia is about. It is not your typical stay at a motel, it is where you get to rest at a peaceful place, possibly meet artists at a potluck dinner under the Pavilion there, and just relax with beautiful hiking trails nearby. Bring your sketchbook and paints, or your guitar, you will be inspired to create while staying there.We booked a weekend at the Eagle's Nest Cabin, and found that we had everything we needed there. The stars are quite visible at night so be sure to take a look before retiring for the night. The Pavilion was cool and breezy, and a very nice spot to sit and eat dinner (one has limited items but can cook a meal), and there is plenty of outdoor seating and a picnic table. There is also a spot to set up a small bonfire if you like!We extended our stay for two nights more at Blue Dream. This cabin had a different vibe altogether, but was equally charming in its retro hippie vibe feel. Tiny stars adorn the ceiling where you tuck yourself in for sleep in the loft. A small pour over coffee pot awaits you to help you start your new day at the artist’s haven, Mylandia.
