The Dutch are known around the world as a seafaring people, but not my father. In fact, the ship bringing his family to America when he was just five collided with another and had to return to port. brbrMy family has lived in St. Augustine for almost 40 years. A few years ago, we rented a pontoon boat for a day on the Intercostal Waterway. As we stopped for lunch, my father tossed the anchor towards the marsh.
