The pool area opens at 9am and closes at 10pm; the occupancy for the hot tub is 11. As there are no lifeguards at the pool, children must be monitored by an adult. Children under the age of 5 must wear swim diapers when at the pool. Please do not make exceptions, as accidents introducing fecal matter into the pool require a special disinfection process, which will result in the pool shutting down for up to 24 hours.br brAmenity Wristbands: In the condo's kitchen(ette), you will find The Village wristbands for your use. The following areas require wristbands be worn by all guests (10 years of age and older): the private beach access through Sunset Beach, The Village tram, and the new resort pool at The Village across from Building G. Prior to departure please return all wristbands to their proper place (guests will be charged a fee of $30 for each missing wristband).br brBeach Tram Info: A complimentary beach tram is available to all guests of The Village of South Walton from March 1st– October 31st from 9am to 5:30pm CST (with no Tram service from noon-1; in addition, the Tram does not run in inclement weather). Guests must call to schedule Tram pickup, otherwise no tram service will be provided. Tram departs from The Village pool area near Building H. All guests 10 years of age and older must wear wristbands to access the Tram. No wagons, no glass, no canopies, or pets allowed on the Tram.br brBeach Access Info: Private beach access for guests residing at The Village is through the Sunset Beach community. This private access point is monitored; guests older than the age of 9 will be required to wear a wristband to gain entry.br brWalking Directions (5 to 10-minute walk): From Peddler's Pavilion (shopping area in front of The Village) turn right onto 30A. You'll pass High Pointe Resort House on your left. The beach access is shortly thereafter on the left (north) side of 30A (directly across from the Seacrest Beach entrance). You will see the prominent lifeguard chair, which is the entrance to Seacrest. At that chair, take a left and locate the guard house. Show your wristbands to the guard and you will be permitted to walk straight to the beach. If there is no guard upon your arrival, walk down the middle path, in between the gates, to gain access to the beach.br brWheeled coolers, wagons, golf carts, bikes, skateboards and roller blades are NOT allowed through this beach access. Some large items may be permitted; however, per noise restrictions, they must be hand-carried down the pedestrian pathway leading to the shore through Sunset Beach. Strollers are permitted through the beach access as long as they are used to transport children and not beach gear. Beach tents are not permitted on any private beach access along 30A. br brClosest Public Beach Access: Should you desire public beach access where lifeguards are on duty (available during the high season only, from 9am - 5pm CST), head to the beach access point at Inlet Beach. Turn right at the light at the intersection of 30A and Highway 98. In just less than ½ a mile, turn right onto Orange Street (you will see the sign for public beach access). At the stop sign, the road will T; parking is available to the right or left. This beach access is fully equipped with restrooms and an outdoor shower area. Wheeled coolers, wagons and beach tents are permitted at the public beach access. Bike racks are available near the public beach access as well.brbrAbout the Vacation Rental Unit:brbrThis 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental features the following:brThe finest of furnishings! The living room has a large flat-screen TV, a sleeper sofa and a private balcony with amazing views of our community's two pools! The kitchen is spacious and provides all your needs. The cabinets are painted a soft and fresh white, the countertops are granite, all stainless appliances and a mosaic tile backsplash makes you feel like you're at home!brThe King Primary suite has wonderful views of the pool and a large private bathroom with custom double vanity and a large walk-in shower. We put an Amerisleep Mattress in this master bedroom and it's absolutely delightful to sleep in! The 2nd bedroom hosts a queen-size bed. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds.brMaximum Guest Occupancy: 8 Guests (Please note that children under the age of two years still count toward the maximum guest occupancy.)brbrParking: brbrIn regards to parking at the Village of South Walton, there are no parking passes needed at this property. Guests may park anywhere in the parking lot that is nearby the building where your vacation rental is located. While there are over 200 public parking spaces, they are first-come, first-served.br brThe best way to reach the vacation rental from Destin and Panama City Beach is Via Hwy 98. From Hwy 98, take County Road 30A (RIGHT, if you're coming from Destin; LEFT, if you're coming from Panama City Beach). Travel on County Road 30A for just over a ½-mile. Look for shops on the right (Seacrest Sundries, Premier Property Group). Then turn right onto The Village Lane. This area is called Peddler's Pavilion. Follow this road around till you see these shops: The Lens Bar, Pizza By The Sea, The Sweet Peddler. Turn right (when doing so, you should see La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar on your left).br brAt the stop sign, Building D is on your right and Building C is on your left; turn right. Building H is the first building on the left just past the pools. You can park anywhere in the parking lot. brbrTake the stairs or the elevator to the 3rd floor. When exiting the elevator, turn right and then immediately left to enter the front door of the Holland House. Look for Unit B331 on the door.br brOther details to note:brbrThe HVAC unit is controlled by a remote left in your room. Some large items may be permitted; however, per noise restrictions, they must be hand-carried down the pedestrian pathway leading to the shore through Sunset Beach. Strollers are permitted through the beach access as long as they are used to transport children and not beach gear. Beach tents are not permitted on any private beach access along 30A. br brClosest Public Beach Access: Should you desire public beach access where lifeguards are on duty (available during the high season only, from 9am - 5pm CST), head to the beach access point at Inlet Beach. Turn right at the light at the intersection of 30A and Highway 98. In just less than ½ a mile, turn right onto Orange Street (you will see the sign for public beach access). At the stop sign, the road will T; parking is available to the right or left. This beach access is fully equipped with restrooms and an outdoor shower area. Wheeled coolers, wagons and beach tents are permitted at the public beach access.
