Beachside Bliss is a NON-SMOKING unit. brbrBeachside Bliss is a 2-story townhome. It is *not* a condo in a high-rise complex. You'll have a private deck that opens directly onto the beach (you literally just walk out the sliding glass door). You won't have to park in some huge concrete parking garage (you park right outside the front door), you won't have to wait endlessly for very busy elevators, and you won't have to share the beach with the thousands of other condo residents typical in a high rise community. This truly is 'bliss'!brbrThe unit has 3 large bedrooms, all well appointed with quality furniture (and high-quality mattresses) so you can sleep comfortably after an adventurous day on the gulf. The master bedroom features a king size bed and picture windows that overlook the Gulf of Mexico. The second bedroom is kid friendly and can comfortably sleep 4 (2 queen beds and “full size” bunk beds). We also have a main level bedroom with a queen size bed adjacent to a (newly remodeled) bathroom with a shower. All three bedrooms have TVs with high definition cable service.brbrThe living room is well appointed too, and boasts a roomy sofa, two comfortable chairs, and a 65' Sony HDTV (with a DVD player) for your enjoyment. We have subscribed to over 160 channels (Xfinity) including most sports networks and some premium movie channels. brbrThe kitchen is a gourmet's delight... with custom Thomasville cabinetry, granite counters, an oversized center island, and high end stainless steel appliances. You’ll find the kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking/dining utensils. It is a challenge keeping good cookware in a vacation rental so we replace all the pots and pans every three to six months. brbrOur dining room has a large dinner table with a three-seat bench and 3 chairs, and 4 more can dine at the oversized island. br brAs for location, Beachside Bliss is located approximately 3/4 of a mile west of the fabulous Pier Park shopping resort! You can see the pier itself from the gulf front deck. brbrThere are some great dining spots within walking distance of our townhome. Right across the street you’ll find a Wings/Barbeque place, and of course a couple of great seafood places (check out the “Sand Bar” about a block away).brbrThere is a Winn Dixie grocery store and a CVS pharmacy across the street as well. Just to our east (in Pier Park) you’ll find a world of entertainment, dining, and shopping. The pier itself offers great views and fine fishing! brbrWe're constantly updating and improving Beachside Bliss! We installed brand new windows throughout, as well as beautiful new flooring. The bathrooms have both been updated and we have replaced almost all of the furniture. The kitchen cabinets have been newly refinished, and we installed gorgeous plantation shutters (with 4 slats) in the master bedroom and living room. The unit is bright, airy, tastefully decorated and beach-themed. We work really hard to ensure that all of our guests have an awesome experience.brbrWe contracted with a new cleaning service in September 2024. Convenience & privacy are main advantages to our townhome (2A4)! You are able to walk directly into your accommodations from the covered dedicated parking outside the unit door . Our 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse is located in Horizon South which is a gated family oriented complex and not a high rise. A plus to our townhome is that the bedrooms are located upstairs and have doors. We do not have a loft layout but instead a separate upstairs with doors which makes our more spacious in relation to many of the other 2 bedroom units in the complex. Also we have dedicated parking and not many in our complex have that feature as well.brbrYou are not required to walk through any common areas or take any elevators to access our townhome. An awesome additional advantage to a townhouse is there are no guests above or below you so it is quieter and more private. We are located just inside the front gate and close to a pool and the beach. brbr Our unit has keyless entry for convenience so no need to worry about losing keys. brWe installed new flooring (LVP) and replaced carpeting for a better experience. brOn the 1st floor we have a washer dryer. The kitchen has an electric range with an overhead microwave and refrigerator with ice maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with needed items for a beach stay.brWe just installed brand new appliances (April 2024)brThe den area is bright light and welcoming with new furnishings including a state of the art queen sleeper sofa with upgraded Serta mattress. The sleeper sofa has a trampoline backing that makes it super comfortable. There is a matching loveseat and chair along with a flat screen TV. There is a half bath for the convenience of your guests. Sliding glass doors open to a private patio.brI love sitting out on the patio and enjoying my morning coffee while scanning the news. We recently installed lights for the evening. This is a great area to relax with a cocktail while the kids watch a movie.brbrOn the second floor are the master bedroom suite with a bathroom and 2nd bedroom has an additional bathroom outside the bedroom door. brThe master has a king sized bed as well as a flat screen TV. The covered balcony off the master has a view of the ocean making it a great place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or a cocktail in the evening. The master has a bathroom with combo shower/tub.brbrThe second bathroom also has a combo shower/tub. brbrThe second bedroom has a flat screen TV and 2 full sized beds with two closets with plenty of room to hang your clothes.brbrA large deck that can be accessed from either bedroom is a great place for all guests to gather and enjoy the outdoors in a private setting.brbrHorizon South is a gated community which access to Front and Back Beach Roads convenient to Pier Park, lots of awesome restaurants, the Pier, and Frank Brown Park. The complex has lots of amenities including 4 pools, a kiddie pool, hot tub, putt-putt course, tennis courts, shuffle board, basketball ball courts, playground and horse shoes. Inside the club house there is a fitness room and pool tables.brbrYour hosts are Beckie and Joey Nichols from Cumming Georgia. We have been going to Panama City Beach for many years. We have stayed many places but love Horizon South and decided to purchase a unit. We love the family community in Horizon. Joey is an avid bass fisherman and enjoys deep sea fishing. With the purchase of the unit he hopes to spend more time on the ocean. Beckie enjoys deep sea fishing as well but she really enjoys just relaxing on the beach and reading a book.brbrAs the owners we have chosen to rent our unit ourselves. brThere is a wonderful onsite maintenance staff that assists with any issues should you have any. It is the perfect fit for those who love the beach and all the attractions but also cherish quiet evenings away from the crowds. The 17' x 30' garage is an added plus. You can drop all the beach gear in the garage at the end of the day and have it out of your way or store your motorcycle or automobile. There are no elevators to wait on and you park right in front of the townhome or in the private garage. The community pool is very nice and is never overcrowded as only residence and guests of Bonita Point are permitted to use it. The pool and pool house are directly in front of the townhome! The townhome has a very open floor plan with 986 sq. ft. of living space. Everyone remarks at how roomy and comfortable this townhome feels. The living room has a new sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress and a new Smart TV (free Wi-Fi) and the bedroom has a queen size bed. We can provide a rollaway bed for a child if you need one for a 5th person. The large bath provides a hugh jetted tub and a separate shower stall and an oversized vanity. brBonita Point is a very quiet neighborhood located between the Grand Lagoon and the ocean off Thomas Drive. You can walk across Thomas Drive to the beach or drive over to the beach entrance and park in public parking. At the beach you can rent jet skis, go tubing or parasailing, diving and snorkeling or spend the day on one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world. The Marina is only a couple miles away where you can charter deep sea fishing trips, Sunset Cruise, Dolphin Watching, Pirate Cruise, or Shell Island Cruise, or rent a pontoon boat and do your own exploring! There are several wonderful dining options at the Marina where you can watch the sunset as the boats come into dock. Pier Park is a 10 minute drive away and is a shopping, dining, and entertainment mecca. You can also go pier fishing and catch a free concert on the lawn. Dave and Buster's is at Pier Park and a large movie cinema among many other entertainment choices such as amusement rides, mazes, and laser tag. The master bedroom has a king bed and walk-in closet and a full bathroom. A pack-n-play is available for an infant. The house has WIFI. Off the great room is a covered deck that features a gas grille, table and a partial ocean view.
