Please note, any indication of smoking inside the room or near room where smoke smell (any type-cigs or weed) can get in the room will result in eviction without question and forfeiture of security deposit. We are sticklers on this as we worked hard to make this a beautiful building and don`t want it stinky. Just smoke outside away from the doors. We do require a credit card on file with Salty Dog Vacations, the managers of the inn. We will put a $200 security hold on the card during your stay as smoking in units is a big issue in Daytona and we are really protecting against this. If you use a credit card, you won`t even notice as the card would only be charged if the smoking rule was violated, however, if you use a debit card/bank card you will see the charge pending as a hold on the funds until a couple days after check out so we just want you to know as we will never keep your funds unless the rule violated, but every bank takes different amounts of days to take the hold off. brbrPet fee is $25/per pet per day, max 2 pets. Airbnb does not have an option to update this per pet so our staff will contact you to get pet fee paid if needed. We do ask for a pic of your pet so that we know what pets go where:). This is an amazing house newly renovated and decked out for a refreshing vacation! It’s outside of the nightlife riffraff but close to all Daytona beach has to offer with no more then a 10 min drive. There is an amazing tropical fee out back with a salt water pool and spa, it leaves your skin feeling so nice and soft after using! ping pong table, a regular gas grill, and a smoker/charcoal grill! And a gas fire table. You can catch the sunrise at the beach and the sunset at the river with a 5 min walk either way. The property is at a dead end street with a private feel. This house does have a small apartment on top of it you might occasionally hear some foot steps! A 5 min walk to where small scooter rental is you can hop on one and explore the area the go about 18mph and they are a lot of fun! Only a 5 min walk to boat rentals and jet skis. If you haven’t been to disappearing Island rent a boat and check it out and then grab lunch at one of the 5 restaurant options that are water front with boat parking! brMany things to do like parasailing, paddle board tours, put out golfing, shopping(one Daytona and tanger outlets) beach, board walks, climb the ponce inlet light house, many trails through the dunes in ponce inlet(10min drive) jet ski rentals, awesome charter fishing, dinner on the riverboat, ocean front dining river front dining, brIt’s a perfect house for a great vacation. brbrbrDisclaimer: There is an apartment on top of this house and you will hear their foot steps walking above you on occasion if this would bother you please refrain from booking. This house is not suited for large wild drinking parties due to close by neighbors. They absolutely will call the police department on the first sign of a large party. Absolutely no smoking inside. Under these circumstances guest will be removed from the property immediately. We are pet friendly but you will have to take your dogs on a walk to let them go to the bathroom. We do not have a yard they can use the restroom. The back yard is a mini golf course. Dogs can not go to the bathroom on and front yard is rocked. Local and state regulations can be found on the local public health department website.brOCCUPANTS. No more than the number of person(s) entered in the booking may occupy the Premises at any one time unless the prior written consent of the Manager is obtained. All guests over the age of 2 are counted towards the maximum. Any party falsely representing the number of people, or exceeding the maximum may be subject to immediate eviction without refund. All guests over the age of 15 will be required to provide a copy of a government issued ID.brFor properties that allow pets, pets are only allowed if approved by Manager. All pets must be disclosed to Manager within 24 hours of booking, or if booking is less than 24 hours from booking time then at the time of booking. Guest must pay any required pet fees no less than 7 days prior to reservation start. For bookings made within a week of reservation, fee must be paid same day as the reservation is made.br Guests must be 25 to book (or the specified minimum age to book as noted on the booking site). Guests under the minimum age must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent. Guests over 25 may not book a property for the use of a group under the age of 25 (ex: a mom or aunt cannot book a unit for a group of high schoolers where the parent or legal guardian will not be present).brFURNISHINGS. The unit is completely furnished and stocked. Guest shall return all such items at the end of the stay in a condition as good as existed at the beginning of the booking, normal wear and tear excepted.brPROPERTY INSURANCE. Manager and Guest shall each be responsible to maintain appropriate insurance for their respective interests in the Premises and property located on the Premises. Guest shall also maintain any other insurance which Manager may reasonably require for the protection of Manager`s interest in the Premises. Guest is responsible for maintaining casualty insurance on its own property. It is recommended that travel or vacation insurance is obtained by the Guest. Manager requires unit insurance coverage purchase at booking.brNON-DISTURBANCE CLAUSE. Guest and their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger (fireworks) or inconvenience neighbors nor use the premises for any unlawful purposes. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests shall adhere to noise policy and shall interact kindly with neighbors. Guests understand that many units are in residential areas and will act with the utmost respect while at the premise or in the neighborhood/condo. Guest will not be heard using foul language, being rude, arguing or displaying obvious intoxication.brGuest will treat property with the same care as if the property was their home and will not hinder normal traffic patterns in the area. Guests will not do anything neither at the unit nor in the neighborhood/building that would cause complaints from neighbors, HOA or Condo Managers or police/code enforcement. Guest will abide by any parking restrictions.brCANCELLATIONS. (a) If the Property becomes unavailable to the Guest prior to occupancy, for any reason, Manager agrees to refund the full amount paid to the date of cancellation, and Guest agrees to rebooking any claims against Manager. (b) Cancellations from guest will be refunded as described on the booking site used by guest. Guest understands that use of OTA’s such as Airbnb frequently require the guest contact the OTA directly as sites like Airbnb hold the guests money and Manager may not have ability to refund.brCancellations related to the COVID-19 pandemic are dependent on a number of factors including: local restrictions, origin of the guest, when the booking was made, and when local officials or the CDC declare an outbreak in an area. If the cancellation is related to COVID-19, please refer to the booking sites policy.brSMOKING. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the Property. Smoking is only allowed `outside`. Evidence of smoking inside the Property will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all amounts paid and will result in additional Cleaning Fee charges to Guest as Excess Damage Cost and will be charged against the credit card on file. Smoking near open doors and windows that leads to interior smell of smoke will be charged as if guest was smoking in unit.

The point of telling you that is that this is an awesome unit and we work really hard on it, but things can and will happen. We don`t know when the microwave will break (if it does we will replace it) or if a Florida palmetto bug will sneak in the house (we are located in Florida which is a jungle..the unit is treated for pests but sometimes they will sneak in and there is nothing we can do about it). Every unit is professionally cleaned prior to check-in but if our cleaners miss something just give us a call and we will send them right back out to fix it. If things like that would bother you, then we may not be the place for you. These are things that we have experienced as well at vacation rentals while travelling and we roll with the punches and have fun. We are not in this business to be a hotel, we have a fun place for guests to stay with friends and family that is fairly priced.. if you are uptight or looking for perfection we aren`t the place for you. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities. This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement. II. EXCLUSIONS This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from: 1. Acts of God 2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear 3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250 4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property 5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal 6. Damage to a motorized vehicle 7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You. This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown. III. CONDITIONS Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner. Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value. This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage. This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property. This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property. Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars. If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial. IV. DEFINITIONS You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

Because the seawall would need to be rebuilt before the steps can be rebuilt, we do not currently have a timeline set for reopening. The open floor plans allows the Atlantic Ocean to greet you from the moment you walk into the home with floor to ceiling grand windows strung along the back of the home. To the right of the entrance you'll pass through glass French doors to a lovely oceanfront office space that has been converted into an additional bedroom. The twin bed in this room uniquely and conveniently transforms into a king bed. brbrPass through the oceanfront living room to a large, formal dining room that accommodates 8 guests, allowing your whole group to dine together at one table. The vast, custom kitchen is right off the dining room and features a large island, french door fridge/freezer, and is stocked with all the cooking necessities. The home also includes a full-size laundry room for convenience located near the kitchen. Through the kitchen sits a uniquely medieval themed bar and family room. A half bathroom is located by the stairs on the first floor.brbrAscend to the second floor to discover three luxury bedrooms. The oceanfront master bedroom is truly a private retreat hosting a king bed, flat-screen TV, and furnished sitting area. The sitting area opens into a private master balcony allowing you to take in the breathtaking ocean views.
