It’s rare in southwest Florida but cold fronts do happen. Summer Inside of the home is kept at 72. HVAC is only meant to remove humidity and cool 18-20 degrees cooler than outside. There are a lot of 100 degree days. We are at the mercy of the weather and mechanical limitations. If you expect 60 degrees inside in south Florida during the summer, stay north.
