Luxury Villa Rock – Your Private Oasis in Split / Podstrana

We spent several nights at this property and believe that it is worthy of a five star rating overall. The highlight of this property is the beautiful and private swimming pool, which our family really enjoyed. The owner (and his parents) are super nice and live in an adjacent apartment or condo (the other half of the building), which is nice in case something should arise while you are staying there. The only slight downside to this property is that it is somewhat 'remote,' in a sense, in that it is about a 15 minute Uber ride from the touristy part of downtown to the home (about $20 USD). There is a market within walking distance for groceries and so forth, and if you wanted to walk to the beach, that was only a 5-7 minute long trip. (Because the pool was so nice, we opted to stay there if we were not doing some type of excursion). In the spirit of transparency, the property is located adjacent to a church that chooses to ring the steeple bell on a regular basis, so if you are a super light sleeper, you may want to bring some ear plugs (I don't think they ring it at night --- only in the morning and throughout the afternoon). It did not bother anyone in our family, and I even joked about it with the property owner, but I would be remiss if I failed to mention it. With that said, this property still receives a 5 star rating from us, particularly given the friendly, easy going nature of the owner, whom we really liked. We would stay here again if and when we return to Split!

The place is so marvellous, I don't know where to begin. The location is amazing and so is the villa. There's even a nice getaway garden with a beautiful view. As for our host, Pave, I have nothing but words of praise. He was there for us whatever we needed and we enjoyed a delicious barbeque with him on the last day.

Villa kuk Is very beautiful, our stay was awesome. Very friendly Family and the Beach Is not to far. Split Is also bot far away and the Owen Pool Is awesome.

My family had the pleasure of staying at Pave's wonderful Villa Kuk apartment when we were in Split for my sister's wedding. Simply put, the apartment exceeded our expectations and is the ideal apartment for a large family or group of friends looking to stay in Split. Pave and his sister Anita greeted us on our arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment. They were so friendly. The apartment itself is splendid, with three nice bedrooms and two bathrooms, very nice kitchen and living room, and excellent Wifi/entertainment system. Most interesting part of the house is the garden, which has a truly large and beautiful swimming pool. Near the pool is a huge stone rock that is truly stunning, and above it a relaxing small private park with pine trees. The beauty of nature completely fascinated me. Center of the old town is 15 minutes by car from house - we ate in Split several nights, with ample choice of bistro, cafe, shops, bakery and more. Within just ten minutes walk of the apartment are great pebbles/sand beaches. We were really lucky to have found the apartment, and would stay at Pave's home again without a second thought.

Since the moment we arrived we realized the excellent decision for choosing to stay our holidays in this beautiful house. The house is secure, spacious, well equipped, comfort and clean! It also has gorgeous pine trees park and a swimming pool!! The bedrooms were nice and lovely kitchen equipped with all the necessary to cook. House was very near to all we needed: a very nice supermarket, pharmacy, fruit store, caffe bars, beach... We can say we enjoyed very much. Owners were very kind and they were all the time available just in case we needed help or suggestions.
