A family wing with a separate den can be closed off from the rest of the home with a sliding barn door—a great feature considering all the entertaining space you’ll want to utilize during your stay.brbrThe beautifully landscaped private backyard features a  pool, bocce court, covered patio and an olive grove.brbrInterior DetailsbrVaulted ceilings greet you when you cross the threshold into Wolf Meadow, a warm introduction to the space the rest of the home provides. Two separate living areas with gas fireplaces offer options for relaxing, while the kitchen has a built-in nook and circular table for mealtime with the kids. brbrThe kitchen features a subzero refrigerator, a Viking range, a large pantry, and an island for easy food preparation—the room was designed to facilitate time together. Walls of windows mean common areas are bathed in natural light. brbrAll 4 bedrooms in the main house are spacious; the primary bedroom has an inviting window nook and a bathroom with a soaking tub and an outdoor shower. brbrThe family wing, which can be separated by a sliding barn door, has two bedrooms, a private sitting area with a piano, a tiny courtyard, and a second-floor gym/office with commanding views. The fourth bedroom, located just off the kitchen, looks out on the backyard bocce court.brbrThe guest house, which shares a patio with the main structure, is laid out like a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, a modest living space, and a spacious bathroom.brbrExterior DetailsbrOutdoor spaces at Wolf Meadow are just as inviting as the indoor spaces. In the backyard, an expansive covered patio looks out on a modest-sized inground pool, which has an integrated spa. There’s a bocce court on the side of the house and rows of olive trees flanking the property line. The back wall of the primary bedroom’s outdoor shower doubles as a fountain that provides soothing sounds throughout the day, even when the shower is not in use. Afternoons can be windy because of the home’s proximity to the northern part of the San Francisco Bay. The interior of this modern open studio features exclusive furnishings, a queen-size bed, 2 sofas, 55 TV, bistro table, two builtin workstations, kitchenette and full bath with walk-in glass shower.brbrThe well-equipped kitchenette includes both a Nespresso machine and a K-Cup coffee and tea maker, milk frother, microwave, toaster oven, double and single hot plate, slow cooker, Instant Pot and full-size fridge.brbrBeautifully decorated interiors by two former corporate executives of Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and West Elm, including custom fine art painted exclusively for the property. We fondly refer to the property as Great Oak because of the dozens of gorgeous oaks on the grounds. Rental guests often comment on how private the compound feels across its 7 acres with few homes in view and yet only minutes from both Sonoma and Glen Ellen. If you love hiking and biking, Cavedale Rd. is an 7 mile long artery crossing from Sonoma into Napa. Or, simply sit back and relax in a truly rural setting with spectacular views of the Valley of Moon, uniquely framed by both the Mayacamas and Sonoma Mountains...truly one of the best locations the wine country has to offer.brbrWe live on the property. The guest studio was specifically designed to face away from the main house in order to afford guests the privacy you deserve. The guest studio is also attached to the garage so on occasion guests may hear the garage door opening/closing.brbrThe lap pool is shared with the owners. When guests are present, we limit our use of the pool to our daily laps and try to do so when guests are out exploring all that Sonoma and Napa have to offer. The pool is not heated in the off-season.brbrWe have 2 friendly Gordon Setter dogs (Tobi 5 years old and Nikki 4 years old) that roam the property and may come over to visit. If you are uncomfortable with dogs, or they are in any way bothering you, please call/text us and we will make sure to keep them with us. It is not a bother at all, so please don’t hesitate to let us know. Also, when entering or leaving the property, if you could take care and not let the dogs out. If you see them out and about when arriving at the gate or upon leaving, please call or text us so we can bring them in. You shall be fully responsible for any damage to the premises in excess of the RentalGuardian Damage Insurance policy, plus reasonable costs of collection, including reasonable attorneys` fees, if necessary.brbrPetsbrGuests are not allowed to bring pets onto the premises unless prior arrangement is made. The Owners will bear the cost of all reasonable utilities, reasonable trash removal, local telephone service, Internet wifi, cable TV and the use of all personal property made available to renters, including kitchen equipment, dishes, linens, outdoor furniture, and outdoor grill if provided. We will take normal measures to ensure that house and outdoor equipment is in reasonable working order. We will provide normal maid service at our expense after your departure. Owner/owners representative shall not be held responsible for such items failure to work, but will make a reasonable effort to correct any issues as reported as quickly as possible. You acknowledge that use of amenities such as appliances, barbecue, decks, and the like may be potentially dangerous and involve potential risks if improperly used, particularly with regard to children and such use is at your own risk. brbrOwner/Owner Representative AccessbrOwner/owners representative reserves the right to enter the property at reasonable times and with reasonable advance notice for the purposes of inspecting the property or to make repairs. If owner/owners representative has a reasonable belief that there is imminent danger to any person or property, owner/owners representative may enter the Property without advance notice. brbrCheck-out ProceduresbrUpon departure, you agree to clean and to follow the check-out procedures, as specified in the Renter`s Manual provided to you at check-in, including to and without limitation: cleaning the outdoor grill, if used, washing dirty dishes, cookware, and utensils, and then returning to their cabinets, placing the garbage in the outdoor trash cans, and locking all windows / doors and closing all gates. You agree to report any damages or loss of property to owner/owner`s representative.brbrUnavailability of PropertybrIn the event the property is not available for use during the rental term due to reasons, events or circumstances beyond the control of owner/owners representative, the owner/owner representative will apply due diligence and good faith efforts to locate a replacement property that equals or exceeds the property with respect to occupancy capacity, location and value that meets the reasonable satisfaction of the guest. If such replacement property cannot be found and made available, owner/owners representative shall immediately issue a refund. The refund will be prorated based upon the number of nights the property was not occupied by guests.
