Descending to the condo from the lakes basin in the summer is a blast and a breeze at any time of day, and extremely beautiful at sunset along Lake Mary Rd with the view across Long Valley to the White Mountains. The close vicinity to the trolly stop and the gondola will make this experience extremely effortless and comfortable compared to other options. brbrThe location provides an ability to stop by during a stay any time of the year for a quick rest or even a quick lunch on the busiest of ski weekends with private parking and public transit out front of the complex.brbrThe unit easily sleeps 4. It includes a pellet stove for easy operation and quick heat for the quaint unit. It seems effortless to come back on a cold day and warm up quickly. The La Vista Blanc condos are located on the southeast edge of Mammoth near the Sherwin Mountains and next to the Mammoth Creek Park. The condo complex is well maintained and you can walk to restaurants, shopping, hiking and the shuttle which provides free rides to the ski resort and all of Mammoth in the winter. The spa and pool are located across the parking lot from this unit. The condo is a two story, three bedroom + loft – two bath unit. It is located on the second story so there is no worrying about noisy neighbors. brbrThe condo is in good condition. All three bedrooms have queen size beds with great mattresses and plenty of closet space. The loft has a bunk bed and a double bed. There is also a video game console in the loft and a closet. There is a spacious living room with a L-shaped sofa and a leather chair for ample seating. There is a wall mounted flat screen LCD television (with cable service provided) and a DVD player in the living room and plenty of games to keep kids old and young occupied. There is also a wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood on the balcony. The kitchen has a brand new stainless stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a coffee maker and a dining table with seating for eight. There are two complete bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. There is wireless Internet provided. We also have an outside closet for your ski and snowboard storage and there are a couple of sleds and a snow shovel that you can use.brbrThere are many great reasons to visit Mammoth. In winter there is skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, sledding, snow shoeing and snowmobiling at nearby Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort and June Mountain. In the summer there is hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, boating and horseback riding in the area. The Mammoth Creek Park is next to the condo and it is a great place for the kids to play and to go for a walk. The condo has easy access to the local bike paths and the skate park is about a mile away. You can also take a short car trip to the Devil's Postpile National Monument. In all seasons you can walk to restaurants, the movies, coffee and Vons.
