On the banks of the river are train tracks. The train comes by a few times daily and, though brief, is heard from the area though it remains mostly quiet in the Cabin.brbrThere is no direct River access at the Trout Run Lodge, though you are less than 3 miles from the nearest Fishing outfitter, kayak and canoe rentals, and public boat launch at the convergence of Sylamore Creek and the White River.
