A spacious covered deck affords you a front-row seat to this 14-acre boulder and pine creation, right out your back door. Two new Trade air conditioning and furnaces installed in February 2023. The east-facing deck is made for outdoor entertaining. It has a built-in propane grill and a tiled buffet. Lots of comfortable seating makes this the place to relax on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine or cool winter morning with a cup of coffee. An 8ft. slider brings you into an open living room. This space has vaulted ceilings with light knotty pine and a beautiful stone fireplace. These are surrounded by Lazy Boy recliners and attractive dark upholstered couch and love seat. Whether you are staring dreamily into the fire or watching a program on the cable flat-screen TV, it's hard to get up and do anything else.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, slow cooker, mixer, coffee pot, toaster, can opener, blender,microwave, and dishwasher. A large dining room table makes meals easy and accommodating. Boulder Cabin sleeps 5 with a queen in each bedroom and a sofa (not a sofa sleeper} in the living room. Wonderful views surprise you out of the bedroom windows. The master bath is very special with a walk in dual head shower, and separate toilet room. I never close the blinds, because the 14 acres of large boulders and trees, is a strong deterrent to to any casual person passing by. brBoth bedrooms share a covered deck for bird watching or bat spotting. A picnic table makes for fun outdoor dining to feed kids. The hall bath with tub/shower combination is convenient for guests.br Internet and washer/dryer bring modern touches to the cozy cabin in the rocks.brKeep an open mind as you drive through Canyon View Trailer Park, as it is quite an eyesore. The Fillingim's have owned that park and all of the land back into the canyon for many years. They raised 5 children in the stone house on the hill above and behind the park. Two of the grown kids have built beautiful homes behind the electronic gate just beyond my cabin. I have owned this cabin since 2005. I feel totally safe when I am at the cabin alone, while never having had anything vandalized or stolen. Many times the residents in the park have helped me with one thing or another.Please keep in mind not to base my review on the trailer park as I have disclosed it completely. I must maintain a 4.8 to remain a Preferred Partner which determines my placement on the internet. br Be prepared, when you arrive because Boulder Cabin will be very special retreat for your stay in Prescott!

Tenants have also said that the living room recliners are great to sleep in for those with back issues.brbrThe primary bathroom has grab bars in the step-in shower and next to the toilet and the guest bathroom has grab bars in the shower/tub combo.brbrHome is stocked with linens, blankets, towels, starter bathroom toiletries, hangars, laundry baskets, unscented laundry detergent, fans, kitchenware, pots/pans, condiments, cleaning supplies, and trail maps.brbrThe HOA maintains front yard landscaping.brbrTenants have access to the seasonal pool (open May - Oct), tennis and pickleball courts which are two blocks down the street from the house. Goldwater Lakes is accessible from the trails or an easy 10 minute drive up Senator Hwy. The new Bean Peaks flow trails are also accessible from the trails near the house. Parking at city lakes is free on Wednesdays. City Lakes include Goldwater Lakes, Lynx Lake and Watson Lake. brbrThere is a Safeway grocery store/pharmacy/Starbucks just 1.1 miles/5 minute drive from the house. brbrPrescott offers great local restaurants, breweries and activities such as kayaking, hiking and mountain biking. Prescott is renowned among the adventure crowd for its extensive multi-use trail systems and lakes. OHV rental is convenient for exploring the Prescott National Forest trails. brbrThe downtown Courthouse square and historic Whiskey Row often host festivals, parades, bands, outdoor cinema and car shows and are only 2.2 miles/7 minutes from the house. brbrYou can also head to Sedona for beautiful red rock cliffs or Flagstaff for cooler summer temps and winter snow skiing.
