It's 4 miles downhill to the water and 4 miles back up the hill to get out. Water and electrolytes are highly recommended. brbrThe Strawberry strip is just 2 miles from the house. We highly recommend eating at Fossil Creek Farm, Pie Bar and getting the monster pizza at Momma Joes. Unwind and meet some Strawberry locals at Sportsman Chalet. They have cold beer, a great Bison burger, and the Wine-burger also comes highly recommended. brbrPine Downtown is just 5.5 miles from the house and offers great options like THAT Brewery, Old County Burger, Old County Inn, and definitely check out the Pine-Strawberry Farmers market open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can find our cookies freshly baked from Timberwolf Homestead there! The Pine Creek Lavender Farm is a lovely spot to visit as well. Ponderosa Market in Pine has a large selection of basic necessities, firewood, alcohol, and groceries.brbrWant to check out a bar in the woods ! Below the Rim Meadery is worth the trip! Be sure to approach from Houston Mesa Rd near Payson. Google can take you on a nearly impassable route through the forest roads.brbrIt's a scenic 1-hour drive to Woods Canyon Lake, where you can rent a variety of watercraft and enjoy being out on the lake. We love to rent a canoe and explore the trails along the shore with our pup. Both Woods Canyon Lake and Willow Springs Lake are great for fishing or swimming off the shore. brbrKnoll Lake is known for having very clean and clear water. It is a longer, more adventurous trip on a dirt road, but it's one of our favorite spots.

Our home is a sanctuary in the woods - 18 ft soaring ceilings, modern rustic iron railings and colossal wood beams. A large loft overlooks the open kitchen with granite countertops and a cozy Great Room with an electric fireplace. brbrEnjoy the outdoors on 750 sq feet of decks, watch the elk and deer graze in the backyard while you grill out in the fresh air. Make your way down to the wood burning firepit for some s’mores or story telling. We’ve also equipped the property with a propane version for those no-burn days. Or take a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub.
