Beautiful home. Beautiful location. Even the road the home is on was full of trees with the fall colors. Pictures wouldn’t do it justice because it was so breath taking. Lake was quiet so family was able to get out and kayak. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space!

Great cabin, amazing location. Kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and plenty of space to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The property is very well maintained. It was not obvious from the photos, but the sauna is in a separate building with a place to change and easy access to the lake for a cold plunge following time in the sauna. Will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely seamless check‑in thanks to John’s clear and informative texts, and he was just a phone call away whenever we needed anything.The house is perfectly set up for family fun. The huge dining table was ideal for our nightly card games, and the open living spaces provided plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Outside, the long dock and gradual, sandy‑bottom entry made swimming safe and enjoyable for kids and adults of all abilities. We especially loved that John provided kayaks—easy to launch and perfect for exploring the lake at our own pace.When we wanted to venture out, Friday’s fish fry at the nearby casino was a real treat (and so convenient), and the unique shops in Siren offered some charming local finds. We also appreciated having well‑stocked grocery stores just a short drive away.Every member of our family fell in love with this getaway spot, and we can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with easy lake access, thoughtful amenities, and a host who truly cares, book here—you won’t be disappointed!

This beautiful log home checked all the boxes, inside and outside. The kitchen, dining, and living areas were open to each other and the beautiful deck - perfect for our family gathering (six of us - could easily have accommodated more). Everything was well stocked, the climate control was awesome, the deck and outside areas so accommodating. The lake is so clear that our little granddaughter could see the fish swimming toward her bait - a complete fishing success! There is a fireplace but no outdoor firepit. All in all, a stellar rental, highly recommend!

Beautiful and spacious log cabin with a view of Sand lake surrounded by trees. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We really enjoyed the sauna on a winters day. The Junkyard Bar was one of a kind. I would recommend this spot. We will look forward to booking again.
