The trail to the beach runs right behind the house, so on your way back you can rinse sandy toes off in the enclosed outdoor shower right by the back door. There are plenty of choices for outdoor sitting areas as well. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck overlooking the wooded conservation area or take in a sunset in the evening with a glass of wine while sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. There is also an outdoor table hand crafted from local old growth wood to enjoy a lovely meal with family or friends. As you enter from the French doors of the entertainment deck of the cottage, there is an open living area consisting of a coastal style living room, a lounging area with two gliding chairs, a large dining table with two leaf extensions, and four counter stools off the kitchen island, allowing up to seating of 15 people. It has a fully stocked kitchen, with the convenience of a beverage refrigerator, stemware, and an electric bottle opener. You can tell the owner loves spending time there and loves to decorate! The town mainly has cottages to rent, but we wanted to be close to our friend's house and close to the action, so we rented this place on the main street. Just steps away to the general store, restaurant, and right above SeaWorthy Home–the cutest little coastal decor shop...how convenient! ;)brBut back to the home...it had three bedrooms–including an awesome bunk room with fun media area located in a loft, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a fully-stocked kitchen with tons of dinnerware....which leads me to that gorgeous hutch–by far my favorite detail of the home!
