In particular, please don’t put anything into the system that isn’t toilet paper. This includes napkins, wipes, paper towels, and feminine hygiene products. The last thing any of us want during your stay is an malfunctioning septic system!brbrWASHER AND DRYER – we offer the use of the washer and dryer by our guests. Please limit use of these appliances to one load per day. Once again this comes down to overuse of the washer in particular being a potential source of stress on our septic system.brbrBEACH ACCESS AND HIGH BANK – please be careful! In particular the bank in the front yard is steep. In the 68 years our family has been in possession of the property no one has ever tumbled over the bank, but you never know. Especially with little children this is always a concern. If you want to access the beach be aware that once you get down to the bottom of the stairs off the concrete bulkhead there’s not much of a landing area. We attempt to keep the driftwood clear but it is constantly changing configuration. Those with limited mobility wishing to access the beach should do so at the public entrance at the end of the meadow down the street.brbrARTWORK – throughout the house you will see framed watercolors. All of these are original artwork done by the host and are offered for sale. Your host is a long-standing collected artist who has pieces in private collections all over the world. If you are interested in purchasing please let the us know.brbrTELEVISION – both TVs are “Roku” devices which support virtually all of the major streaming services. Please be advised that we don’t provide subscriptions for our guests to use. If a particular service is already logged in, feel free to use it. Otherwise you will have to log in using your own account.brbrKITCHEN – we try to make sure that whatever is in the refrigerator (condiments, drinks etc) is current.
