Spend the evening relaxing on the leather couch, watching the 58” Roku television with included Hulu, Disney, Netflix, Paramount + or ESPN accounts, or take off your cold boots after a day of skiing, place them on the gear dryer and take a seat in our comfortable chairs. Grab a book or listen to your favorite music on Pandora.brbrIf utilizing the pullout couch, grab the bedding kit provided in the closet to make up an additional full sized bed. The electrical fireplace works as a great night light for those children who don’t prefer it too dark. brbr-Kitchen and Dining-brbrCook and prepare delicious meals in our remodeled and fully stocked kitchen, including a full spice drawer for making that meal just right. Pull up a bar stool and enjoy your snacks or meals at the marble countertop. Charge your ear pods and phones for your next ski session with the two USB charging ports conveniently located on the kitchen counter. Feel like a warm drink Brew yourself a pot of coffee or steep a cup of tea with our complimentary coffee and tea packs then go relax on the patio and watch the world go by. We have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to body wash and Q-tips. Ample towels for 6 guests are stocked between the two. For the guest looking to take off their makeup, please utilize the black makeup towels provided. Blow dryers are also located in each bathroom.brbrGuest will have full access to the condominium with exception of one small closet in the master bedroom. It is locked and utilized for linens and restock. There is a garage on the first floor but there is no access directly from the condo. Guests are not permitted in the garage per HOA rules. brbr-Garage-brThe garage on the first floor is utilized for storage only and has no interior access. Guests are not permitted to access the garage. Parking is available within the complex.brbr-Parking-brbrParking is available in the stalls located throughout the complex. You may also park on the East side (opposite of the garages) of the driveway. Please do not park in front of the garages. Garages are not accessible by guests. As a good rule of thumb, if your vehicle fits in a standard parking stall at the grocery store, you’re good! Guests are required to follow the Association’s parking policies. Violators may be towed at the owner’s expense. See Utah Code Title 72, Chapter 9, Part 6. No overnight parking of large vehicles such as RVs, or trailers. Those vehicles may only be parked in the designated overflow parking areas.brbr-Food and Grocery-brbrThe town of Brian Head is small without a major grocery store. There are two general stores on the mountain that sell grocery basics, candy, and drinks. There is also a pizza restaurant, a Mexican food restaurant and the Brian Head Lodge that serves dinner and cocktails. There is a Thai and ramen restaurant under construction. It is recommended that you stop in Cedar City or Parowan for groceries. brbr-Altitude-brbrAltitude sickness can occur in Brian Head due to the elevation and quick ascent from the valley below. Make sure you are well hydrated before coming up the mountain. Some guests recommend stopping in Cedar City or Parowan for a few hours to acclimate to the elevation before pushing forward to Brian Head. This provides a great opportunity to explore, shop and enjoy Southern Utah.brbrbr-4 Wheel Drive and Tire Chains-brbr4 wheel drive and/or chains may be required. Retreat to a Master bedroom with king size bed, Jacuzzi Tub, flat screen TV and private balcony overlooking Brian Head mountains, lake and Navajo ski runs. Bedroom #2- has a queen bed and flat screen tv. Bedroom #3- has a queen bed, and flat screen tv. Loft has bunk beds, bottom bunk full bed and top bunk twin bed and flat screen TV. Fully furnished with linens, towels, extra blankets and washer/dryer upstairs. Large downstairs family room with room-heating gas fireplace and balcony. Loft area allows for separate areas so the adults and kids can have their own spaces to relax. Plenty of games, movies and a Wii for your entertainment. Wifi and cable ready as well. brBrian Head is a popular location for winter sports. The resort gets around 350 inches of snowfall annually. Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowmobiling, tubing. There are numerous locations for equipment rental and they are all very near the townhome. You’ll never have to go far to get whatever your heart desires. With good snow skiing back to the condo is almost always easy for all levels and it is a short walk in two directions to access both Giant Steps lifts or Chair 8.brWhen there’s no snow, Brian Head is known for mountain biking, ATV riding, hiking and fishing. The mountains are loaded with trails, and there are several cycling events during the warmer months. The ski lifts continue service during the warmer months to carry riders and their bikes to the top of the mountain for the down-hill bike trails. Summer and Fall are also excellent times to take advantage of the nearby monuments and national parks. Cedar Breaks National Monument is only a 25 minute drive, where photography is unmatched, (not to mention excellent hiking). The beautiful Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks are each about 1 ½ hours away by car.brThe Black Diamond townhomes are one of the newer complexes in Brian Head. Granite counters, comfortable beds and great views this townhouse offers you all the comforts of home with a great location. After years of renting many different homes in Brian Head, we bought here because we loved all that it has to offer and felt like this complex was the best we had ever visited.
