This is one of three of our tiny guest cabins.brbrOur tiny cabins are idea for guests who want to be surrounded by nature, escape crowds, but still be close enough to highway 89 get back on their way quickly. The cabin is one room, one bathroom. There is a deck with seating and beautiful views.brbrGuests are welcome to hike on our 180 acres, see the ranch animals, and if in season, harvest something from the garden.brbrPlease note: While our mini cabin does not include a full kitchen it is beautifully equipped with a kitchenette which includes a mini coffe maker, toaster, cutlery and an electric skillet. A medium sized fridge/freezer and microwave are also located in the mini cabin for use to store, cool and heat up food. brbrAlso note: We first book our entire ranch to guests, then to fill in vacant nights we allow guests to book individual units, such as this is. When the ranch is split into smaller bookings guests can expect to share the outdoor spaces such as garden, hen house, animals, pastures, etc. with guests renting the other units. Also, Seamans Canyon was originally homesteaded by John and Alice Seaman in the mid 1800 s. They had a lumber mill. We found their big pile of scrap wood and have made some neat displays of items commonly found in lumber mills at that time.brbr(Remember this property is at 7200 ft elevation. It's the perfect elevation to get out of the heat of Zion and Bryce for he evening. But it can also get a little chilly at night. Our cabin is nestled in between two of the most beautiful National Parks in the country: Zion and Bryce Canyon. We are 39 miles from Zion, 41 miles from Bryce, 38 miles from Brian Head Ski resort, a few hours drive to Lake Powell and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We have access to miles and miles of ATV trails. Whether you decide to go to the National Parks or stay at the cabin and enjoy the beauty of the local area and all that nature has to offer, it will be a memorable experience.brbrWe recently installed air conditioning as well. When looking at the temperatures in the area, it may not appear to be important to have A/C, but after several years of experience, we think it really is. Any cabin that has its “A frame” window side facing west, can get extremely hot in the late afternoon. This can cause any upstairs rooms to retain the heat, well into the night, even with temperatures falling into the 50s and all the windows open. The A/C is simply a way to get the temperature in to the high 70s, so that when the windows are opened, the entire cabin will cool quickly and everyone can be comfortable at night and have a good sleep.
