The first floor has a dining area where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner at the table, or even play a game of Weatherfordopoly! The first floor living room has a sectional couch to cozy up on while watching a movie on the 42 inch TV. There is an additional seating area in front of a faux fireplace, and the flames can be on with or without the heat. There is one half bathroom downstairs and a laundry room with a full washer and dryer for your use. brThe second floor is quite unique! Though the sleeping areas are separate from each other, there are no doors enclosing them. It is more of an open floorplan rather than your traditional bedroom setup. The main bedroom houses a Queen-size canopy bed with hybrid foam mattress. This room also has a seating area with two chairs and a futon where you can watch TV or have a nice conversation! The full-size futon can lay flat and doubles as the 4th bed for the 5th guest to sleep on. The smaller bedroom--dubbed the Cowboy Quarters--includes two Twin XL GhostBed Flex mattresses that can be converted into a single King bed upon request! brThere is also a full bathroom upstairs with a vintage clawfoot tub! And don't forget to step outside onto the balcony to watch the sunset and gaze at the stars! Fun Fact: the balcony was constructed from steel from an old airplane hangar at the former Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, TX!brEnjoy quiet summer nights outside by the fire pit and cool off during the day in the swimming hole! The pool is made from a stock tank and measure 6 ft. wide by 2 ft. deep. The kids love it! The pool is NOT heated, so it will be open when the weather starts to warm up and closed when it cools down (roughly April-November).brGuests will receive a code to unlock the front door via the keypad. You will have the entire property to yourselves and are free to roam about the land AT YOUR OWN RISK. Keep in mind that there may be venomous snakes, fire ants, scorpions, wild hogs and other wildlife on the property at any time (plus cacti). Please DO NOT TRESPASS on the neighbors' land, and DO NOT pet or feed the longhorns! brThere will be one locked storage closet in the downstairs hallway inside the house. Guests will NOT have access to this closet. Welcome to the Tiny 'Tainer - a 20-Foot tiny shipping container home! Though it measures 20'x8', don't let its small size fool you. Indoor and outdoor living are in perfect harmony at this property! It is centrally located 15 minutes from both Historic Downtown Weatherford and Granbury; and being just 10 minutes from I20 makes traveling easy. NOTE: The Tiny 'Tainer is one of 2 units on the property. The other unit for rent is The Lonely Bull (40-foot container, can sleep 4). At 20' long and 8' wide, the interior of the Tiny 'Tainer features one open living/dining area and a private bathroom with shower. The blue velvet couch pulls out into a full-size bed that sleeps two. The ceiling mounted tv is equipped with Amazon FireTV so guests can stream their favorite shows/movies. The kitchenette provides a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee/tea station, and essential dinnerware. You'll enjoy spending summer nights outside on the back porch or on the rooftop deck! Relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine or take a rest on the hammock. No matter which you choose to do, you're sure to reconnect with nature at this property. Just a short walk outside of the Tiny 'Tainer there is a common area available for all guests to share the amenities. There is currently one other unit for rent on the property, so it's possible that there will be two parties visiting at the same time. Guests can play volleyball/badminton/pickleball or cornhole, grill up some burgers and enjoy each other's company at the table under the pergola, or roast some s'mores at the fire pit! Guests are free to explore the full property but are strictly prohibited from trespassing on the other unit that is not part of their reservation. Please use caution when walking around the premises, as there may be venomous snakes, fire ants, scorpions, wild hogs and other wildlife on the property at any time. Prior to the reservation date, guests will receive codes for the entrance gate and to unlock the front door of the house. Though I will not be available in person, I am only a message away if you need anything. We do not currently provide firewood for the fire pit, but it can be purchased at several local stores. We ask guests not to cut trees from the property to use as firewood. Free Wi-Fi is offered to all guests. TVs are equipped with FireTV, but guests must use their own personal account to login to the streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, etc. Guests are responsible for logging out of all accounts prior to check-out.
