Jetty Park features a walk-over for beach access, great fishing, public restrooms and paved parking. You are also within walking distance of the new City Splash Pad.brIf fishing is on your to-do list, there is a public boat ramp just down the road and tons of fishing spots all within walking distance. So there is a lot to do and see, all within a short walk of Park View.brInside is a main living area, sitting area, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom. Enjoy the Beach during the day and Fishing at night in the property's backyard. House was not affected by Hurricane Harvey making it dry and safe. Lots of crabs are caught throughout the days on the intracostal waterway in the back side along with the canal side on the canal in front of the house. Galveston Island is about 20 minutes drive along the beach road to enjoy entertainments and restaurants. Pleasure pier is about 30 minutes drive away.brbrThe house is a 3 bedroom house with 2 Bathroom and 2 showers capable of sleeping 11 people. One room and 2 Bunk beds. One Bunk have 2 twin and one Bunk with a twin and a full bed. The other 2 rooms have a Queen bed. The couch can be pulled out to a Full Bed capable of sleeping 2 people. brbrHouse is furnished with all the necessary appliances except a dishwasher. Water is from the city instead of well water.brbrHouse is nonsmoking. Area is quiet with only one way into area making it very safe and peaceful for kids, biking, scooters and walking. Street to the house is newly paved making it smooth and comfortable to bike and walk. There is one deck in the back of the house looking straight at the intracostal waterway with cool breezes most of the time. brbrHouse has central air and heating for those who prefer a/c, but the windows can be opened to allow the cool beach breezes into the house. The back deck have lounging chair in which you can lay and enjoy the evening as the sunset and the Intracostastal Waterway with big Tug Boats pushing and pulling barges along with Yatch and Deep-sea fishing boats zipping through. The house is surrounded by water in the front and back with a private canal in the front and the intracoastal waterway in the back. Because it is in a small town away from the city, the city water can get slightly yellow on rare occasions, esp. during and after a hurricane or topical storm. Best to bring drinking and cooking water. Thank you.brbrCheck in is at 4:00 PM and Checkout is at 11:00AM. THe front door lock is electronic, so tenant does not have to worry about losing the keys in anyways. Comprised of two houses that are back to back, with a pool/hot tub between them, you and your family are sure to fall in love with everything this haven has to offer. Both houses are nicely decorated, while still feeling comfortable and welcoming for a family to enjoy. A very easy place to chill after a day at the beach and pool. brbrThe front house is a 4 bed/3 bath and sleeps 12. The open concept living/dining/kitchen boasts a large sectional, a day bed, a bar height game table and a 65 Roku Smart TV. The dining table has seating for 8 and the kitchen bar has seating for 4. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking for a large group and has an extra fridge. The primary bedroom has a king bed and oceanfront views. Bedroom #2 is a bunk room with 2 sets of twin bunks. These rooms are connected by Bath #1. Bedroom #3 has a king bed. Bedroom #4 has a queen bed and a set of twin bunks. This room has a door to the back balcony and access to Bath #3. Bath #2 and #3 are accessible from the hallway. Bath #2 is the only tub. A washer and dryer are located in a closet off of the hallway. There is a large partially shaded deck across the front of the house with 2 picnic tables and some tall seating. There is a deck across the backside of the house with chairs and a view of the pool and the sunset. The area under the house has an enclosed shower with hot and cold water, an outdoor rinse off station, a storeroom with beach toys, and 2 more picnic tables. There is also a 50 amp plug for EV charging.brbrThe back house is a 2 bed/3 bath and sleeps 10. The open concept living/dining/kitchen has plenty of seating, a 65 TV and a shuffleboard table. The dining table seats 8 and the kitchen island has seating for 3. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking for 10. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, a set of twin bunks and an ensuite bath with shower. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a set of twin bunks. There is an additional set of twin bunks along the back wall of the living room. Bath #2 is accessed from the hallway and has a shower. The laundry equipment is also in Bath #2. There is a deck with a picnic table overlooking the pool, with a view of the gulf. Bath #3 is at ground level for use when at the pool and includes a shower. There is a picnic table at the ground level and pool toys in the garage. A propane grill and a charcoal grill are available. Two propane cylinders are provided, but you may need to exchange. brbrThe beach access walkovers were destroyed by Hurricane Beryl, but hopefully will be rebuilt soon. There is a walk through crossing at the end of the street (3 min walk). This will take you on to pedestrian beach, where no vehicles are allowed. There are also multiple access points nearby if you would prefer to drive on to the beach. Jetty Park is at the other end of the street. It's about a 20 minute walk or 4 minute drive. There is a fishing pier, playground equipment, a splash pad and the Jetty Shack restaurant. For entertainment there is a TV area. brbrThe 4 bedrooms on the main level each have a King or a Queen size bed. Beautifully situated on the Middle Beach area of Surfside Beach. The yard around the Gables is perfect for the entertaining, kids to play, BBQing, etc... and access to the water is so easy, just a few short steps from grass to sand. You and your family and/or friends will leave this house wishing you could have stayed longer.
