We have 2 large bedrooms, each with their own full bathrooms. Plus a half bath in our sitting area. The master bedroom has two queen size beds. The master bath has a walk in shower, his and her sinks, and an amazing bath tub to sit in, with a glass of wine or soaking in a bath of bubbles. The second bedroom has a king size bed with a standard full size shower. We have a very large 2nd sitting area with extra sitting and dinning area. There is a gas fireplace located in the living room along with plenty of sitting for everyone. The highlight is the view from our home. We have a large deck, with seating to enjoy a nice family bbq outdoors and the breath taking view of Canyon Lake. Our home has a BBQ smoker available for cooking. You will need to bring wood to use the smoker. brbrOur home is also a short drive to a boat ramp right around the corner. Our guests also have access to a private community area right at the water. We do not have direct water access, so you will have to drive to the community area. Please note you can drive to the boat ramp, and walk down the dirt road. Directions to this area will be given with your check in information.

A short 10 minute drive to Crane's Mill Marina where boat slips can be rented on a daily basis and motor/pontoon/sail boat and Jet Ski rentals are available. The same marina is a 3 to 5 minute boat ride across the lake from our home. The Guadalupe Horseshoe is only a 15 minute drive; the same distance accesses fly fishing below the dam. Excellent shopping is available in Wimberley, Bourne, Gruene, Fredricksberg, the outlet malls in San Marcos, and of course shopping in Austin and San Antonio. All can be reached within 30-60 minutes (Fredricksberg is more in line within 80 minute drive). Gruene offers live music nightly (summer) and weekends (rest of year). brbr brbrOpen floor plan kitchen, dining and living room. Great for large gatherings with plenty of room to sit. Kitchen is nicely updated, and fully stocked with most every utensil and appliance needed! Kitchen also provides a nice bar that can sit 8 people, along with a TV for entertainment. TV's are located in all bedrooms for a total of 5 in the house, all equipped with Direct TV. brbrHouse has a 12X40ft porch, which over looks the lake and BBQ/Firepit area below. Porch is supplied with plenty of patio furniture, including a table for enjoying dinners outside, and couch for relaxing. brbrDeer visit frequently year round (some corn is provided) if you choose to feed the deer. Beautiful, well-furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin (actually a house with a cozy cabin feel) in the Texas Hill Country just outside of New Braunfels, Texas and minutes away from the historic town of Gruene, the quaint town of Wimberley and the famous outlet shops in San Marcos. Also only an hour away from the larger cities of Austin and San Antonio.brbrOur property offers a quiet, serene get-a-way with over 400 feet of frontage along the cold and refreshing Guadalupe River. Included with your stay are complimentary sit-on-top kayaks, paddle boats, tubes and SUP's (Stand Up Paddleboards). All the popular lake activities (sailing, jet skiing, etc) available just down the road on Canyon Lake. All modern conveniences including central ac/heat, cable TV and wireless internet. Indoor fireplace and covered outdoor seating area with fireplace and gas grill. Great place for fun in the sun during the summer months and an exceptionally serene retreat during our moderate-weathered winter months. Winter Texans are always welcome and be sure to contact us for special discounted rates for stays of 30 days or more. brbrFYI, our cabin is very nicely furnished, but is not huge. Although we can actually sleep 10 people in the 5 available queen-size beds (2 in each bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room), it can get a bit cramped at times with larger groups, depending on how cozy you want to be. Although we have had several groups of 8-10 people who have enjoyed their stay, it is our opinion that six is the most that can fit comfortably in our cabin.
