Lots of shade from the huge Texas Pecan covering your own secluded porch. Outdoor lighting for an evening oasis. There is a separate dog run for our friendly four legged giant, Mo. Although the yards is a shared space, you will mostly be the only one back there which gives the feeling of a solitary oasis.brOther things to notebrThis really is a tiny home (285 square feet with slanted ceilings) which is also part of its charm. If you are extra tall or extra wide, you might find the unit compact.brThis unit is an efficiency that shares two walls with the main house. It should be noted that there are privacy/obscured glass block windows between the shared walls. Glass block windows are blocked with blackout curtains inside the main house during nighttime hours to prevent unwanted light filtering through.

Cool cafes and restaurants are within walking distance including tacos and margaritas, two basic Austin essentials.brbrThe wooden walls and floors have been recently refurbished to give it a chalet vibe (ironic in the Texas summer, but fun nonetheless.)brbrCherrywood is by far one of Austin's most loved neighborhoods. All of the houses were built in the 30's through the 50's and have been lovingly maintained through the years. Each block is different, so it's super fun to take long walks in the neighborhood. Plus there are loads of fun restaurants, coffee shops, and taco places within walking distance of this house. brbrThis neighborhood is situated just a few blocks from the north side of the University of Texas campus, so it's perfect for stays that include a visit to UT or a concert at the Moody Theatre.
