Please be aware.brbr- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer/when season changes/when it’s raining, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters, especially if they are found dead, does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else.brbr- A $200 security deposit is required as part of the check-in process. This deposit is held to cover any incidentals or potential damages during your stay and will be refunded after check-out, provided no issues are identified. Guests also have the option to pay a non-refundable $35 damage waiver add-on that can cover up to a specified amount of accidental damage in lieu of the security deposit. brbrbrbrPets ARE allowed depending on size and are subject to pet fees. Tons of fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood. West Lynn Street is a block away (has great Fresh Plus grocery, famous coffee house, restaurants, etc). Beautiful eclectic mix of houses. Very Old Austin. Austin is a boomtown so there may be construction in the area (generally limited mostly to reasonable weekday hours but there's not an absolute guarantee of that, and this guest house is unusually well sound insulated, probably because of it's former use as a pottery studio), chickens running loose (an Old Austin tradition), road closures for events, street races, etc.brbrGorgeous landscaping. The areas on two sides of the guest house are for guest house usage. The stone patio area with the outdoor fireplace and the exercise pool and hot tub are for owner use only and not part of your booking. Please note, there is not a stove top or oven available, instead the propane grill outside provides a burner for your stove top dishes. A mid size refrigerator provides plenty of room for an HEB haul and an equally impressive amount of freezer space. Up a couple of steps you'll step into the Living room where a Love Seat couch faces the large windows/sliding glass door giving you an indoor option for sunset watching. Here you will find some books, card games and another TV with a provided Firestick. When you walk outside, towards the front of the boat you'll be met with the Propane BBQ pit with side burner (propane is provided). BBQ utensils are found in the kitchen.
