Sit on the deck overlooking an open meadow that is home to many deer and other wildlife and enjoy the morning sunrise or our spectacular view of the sunset. Many marked walking trails within minutes of the property. The snowmobile and UTV trails are within a mile or two from the cabin, you can ride out from the cabin. If you are looking to cool off with a dip in the water, Iron Creek Lake is approximately 1.5 miles from the cabin. After dark settle in to view the spectacular showing of stars. With very little light pollution you have a birds eye view of the wonderful night sky.

The basement has a second living room, a bathroom and a bedroom with a queen.brbrThe house has two gas burning stoves for ambiance and heating, and baseboard heaters in every room. Mini-splits also provide heating as well as air conditioning. The upstairs bath has an antique clawfoot tub for soaking and a stand alone shower, the downstairs bath has a tub/shower combo. Both living rooms have 4k, internet connected TVs. The kitchen has all new amenities, including a gas stove and oven, in addition to an island with bar stool seating for four.

The Studio is a 2-person oasis in an adorable neighborhood with a babbling brook, where you can rest in quiet and watch the turkeys, deer, ducks, and squirrels. Alex (Sprout), a star of Building Outside the Lines and Cappie’s stepdaughter, redesigned the interior of the space. She has provided outdoor seating nearby under the trees, next to the brook that runs in the summer.brbrThe Studio is located in the sideyard of an historic home in a residential area on the edge of Spearfish. It originally was the servants’ quarters, but was mostly used as a henhouse for much of the 1900s. In 2015, it was renovated as an office space. Then Alex remodeled it yet again for a vacation rental. brbrThe family in the home enter and exit from the other side of the house (including the garage), so you will have utmost privacy.brbrGuests will have a private parking space next to the Studio.
