Spacious, Rustic Spearfish Home: Walk to Downtown!

Friendly host and very attentive! Great house! Well set up and very user friendly. Everything you need to have your family stay as a home away from home. Easy to cook together and be seated together for meals. Entertainment for the grandkids and exceptionally clean and organized!! Comfortable beds. Highly recommend!!

Our Host was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had right away. We had everything we needed, and we were a very convenient distance from the cute shops downtown to walking from an amazing park and fish hatchery. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was beyond helpful and hospitable. The house was clean and so spacious. Sometimes lisitings exaggerate how many people can stay comfortably but this one was right on the mark. Very nice property.

This home was beyond amazing! We had a wonderful time. The house is located walking distance to downtown Spearfish, we went Killian’s almost every night of our stay. The end of the Sundance to Spearfish marathon less than a mile drive. The weather was gorgeous, we enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Kitchen fully furnished, we cooked breakfast and dinner easily. Beds were comfy and we appreciated the functional ceiling fans. This is literally the first VRBO we’ve stayed in where the owners literally thought of and labeled everything. The amenities were better than some five star hotels.

Worked well as we were able to use the outside community patio space. The living room/dinning room area is very small so hard to hang out together.

The Elks Getaway was a lovely home with lots of room for 8 of us - adults and kids. Great location. Highly recommend the area.

Our stay at the Elk's getaway was great. We had a great time and my entire family was very comfortable in this beautiful home. We were in town to celebrate the last games of my daughters college basketball career. This home was perfect since it was close to the college and had plenty of space for my family. The communication with the host was excellent. I was even asked what temperature I wanted the home before my arrival and was also granted some early access to the property. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone to stay at.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday… 4 adults and one teenager. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The home appears to be new construction. 5 large bedrooms and 3 large full bathrooms plus a 1/2 bath on the main floor. The host was very responsive when we had questions and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location to access town and all the sights throughout the region. Would highly recommend.

This is by far the most perfect vacation home we have ever stayed in! The hosts have thought of absolutely everything…and I mean EVERYTHING! The home is beautifully furnished and decorated and was immaculate. It is incredibly spacious and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We felt right at home immediately. It is in the best location and we can’t wait to come back!

The rental was clean and easy to find with the directions from the host. We had a smaller group this stay. The setup would easily accommodate a group of 10-12 people. We spent 2 nights downtown and it was an easy walk. We did not need overflow parking and did not have a trailer on this trip. It might be annoying for groups with trailers or a lot of vehicles to park in overflow or along a side street. I would rent again!

Our stay here was incredible. The home was exactly as stated and much more. Every detail was thought of. Forgot makeup remover, check! Wanted to make coffee or cook a pizza, check! We were able to walk downtown for the summer concert series and over the the city park and attend the Summer Art Fair as well as make day trips and see all the sights. Highly recommend a stay here!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while attending our family reunion. Not only was it perfect for the 4 adults and 2 kids, it could've comfortably accomodated double that amount. The kitchen was beautiful and large enough for multiple people to prep food for a large family reunion. The coffee pot was large enough it could have served an entire household of adults. Everything we needed was there and well labeled. We loved being able to sit at the large island or table to eat, play cards, and share stories. The upstairs living area was the perfect place to relax after long days with family. We loved sneaking up there to watch a movie or catch a soccer game while the kids (old and young) enjoyed the pacman machine. There is even a small fridge upstairs so you don't have to make multiple trips up and down the stairs. All the bedrooms were huge and well equipped for a long stay. Including luggage racks, plenty of hangers, hanging organizers, laundry baskets... the most well-stocked bedrooms of any vrbo we've stayed in. The large front porch right across from the common area with dining table and grill were so convenient. We spent many mornings having coffee on the porch. The fireplace warmed us up from the unseasonably cool weather. The location was amazing. Walking distance to anything you wanted to do in Spearfish. Thank you to our hosts for an amazing stay and ease of communication during it.
