The Studio is a 2-person oasis in an adorable neighborhood with a babbling brook, where you can rest in quiet and watch the turkeys, deer, ducks, and squirrels. Alex (Sprout), a star of Building Outside the Lines and Cappie’s stepdaughter, redesigned the interior of the space. She has provided outdoor seating nearby under the trees, next to the brook that runs in the summer.
The Studio is located in the sideyard of an historic home in a residential area on the edge of Spearfish.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024In a word—character. What a nice place! Deer walk quite close and each morning 19 turkeys pass by on their morning walk (within 15 ft of me standing there). The interior and furnishings at top rate. It’s really a wonderful little property:)

Stayed Sep 25, 2025Cute place to stay with nearby walkable access to paved Spearfish Recreation Path. Property was clean and bed comfy. No dedicated work space, but spacious closet and nice bathroom, with small coffee bar area with mini fridge. We'd stay again!
