Windswept Villas is a very nice sized building with only 12 units. It sits right on the beach and has private beach access. Feel free to use the available beach chairs and umbrella that are kept in the balcony closet when you head to the beach, or the backyard, as we like to call it! There is an outdoor shower and large beachside saltwater pool (seasonal) for you to relax in when your done at the beach, or anytime of the day. Take a walk down the beach or streetside to one of several dining options or just to see the sights. You will be in a great location, a peaceful area that is also close to area attractions and shopping. Just a short distance away to Murrells Inlet, Pawley's Island and Garden City and only 15 minutes to Myrtle Beach Airport. Surfside Beach is a wonderful area with beautiful beaches and a great atmosphere. It is relaxing and family-oriented. This Beach is not full of busy high rise condos and hotels, but there are still several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Larger shopping areas and restaurants are only about a 5-minute drive away. You will have easy access to everything you're looking for while being less crowded than other areas around Myrtle Beach. The Living room and Master bedroom have breathtaking, sweeping views of the ocean. We have 4 beds. This is unusual in a 2 bedroom. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and a king bed in the extra bedroom. 3 TVs- one in each bedroom and one very large TV in the living room. There's also a Murphy bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There's a newer washer and dryer in the service porch with extra storage, right off the kitchen. Sit on the balcony with your favorite beverage and watch the waves roll in. Parking is off the street, inside the property. We have added an outside security camera in hallway leading to our unit. One car per parking spot. Strictly enforced. Additional Public parking is nearby @ $12/day $50/week. This condo has only 6 units! Very peaceful. Our unit 3 is on the 2nd floor (no elevator!). No pool, but the ocean is just steps away. Surfside Beach has a quiet family atmosphere, very much removed from the hub-bub of Myrtle Beach but it’s close by. So many attractions. Close to golfing and Charleston. Murrells Inlet marsh walk and great restaurants very close by. Once they replace the panels the city inspector will have to inspect the new panels and then Santee Cooper has to turn the power back on to the buildings. Unfortuantely, we are at the mercy of Santee Cooper as to when they can turn the power back on that afternoon/evening. We have been fortunate at our other properties that the power was back no later than 6p.brbrbrbrGuest Access:brbrThere is a pool that is accessible to guests, and Surfside Beach is directly across the street, so you can walk there in under 1 minute.brbrbrbrOther Things to Note:brbrThe home owners have pets. We have many guests booked that will be bringing pets. There is absolutely a chance that there will be pet hair somewhere in the unit (on the carpet, couch, towels, sheets, etc). We deep clean the unit after every stay, but if you have a dog allergy, this place may not be the right fit for you.
