Your Perfect Mountain Getaway! Relax at Lost and Found Quiet Secluded Peaceful

My wife and I were driving through PA and had booked this location 3 days ahead of time to ensure that we would have a place for her to sleep comfortably being 6 months pregnant, but what unfolded was sketchy and wrong.We arrived at the property at 9 PM after driving all day and were unable to get into the house. So we reached out to VRBO who attempted to contact the property owner with no luck. We were able to locate their information on our reservation confirmation and called the owner who did not answer our first call but answered when we called again shortly after. We were told by the owner that him and his wife were on their way up to the property and we were not going to be able to stay there. He denied accepting our reservation as well as denying the personal message that he sent after the reservation was confirmed which said “we think you will enjoy your stay.” After him getting upset that we were even there he “offered” us to stay there that night on the couch with him and his wife staying there with the caveat of not charging us. We denied his offer and ended up driving another 45 minutes until we could find a hotel that had vacancy and allowed us to stay with our 2 dogs. I can only fathom what would have happened if we were able to get in and if the owner were to show up with apparently “no knowledge” of us staying there. VRBO customer service was understanding and helpful resolving the issue.
