There are other public beaches in the area, including the land-locked Sandy Lake, also known as Lake of Spirits, due to the Caribbean colour of the water. The property has a rowboat for use. However, there is another marina steps from this location for launching and fuel. It is a fishermans paradise with ample opportunity to catch large and small bass, walleye, muskie, yellow perch, bullhead, sucker, carp and Northern pike.
