You'll need to drive 5 minutes to the town of Marmora and Lake to get to the shops, supermarket, pharmacy, LCBO, splash pad, playground, public river access, etc. You can access the lake from Booster Park and the river from Legion Park, less than 10 minutes away. This is a cozy 'A' frame cottage perfect for enjoying a break at this lovely location on Crowe Lake in the eastern Kawartha region. The cottage sits on a large property with lawns in front and back. The shallow and sandy waterfront is great for small children, and the front lawn provides lots of room to play. There’s a dock to moor your boat or just sit and enjoy the stunning views across the lake. The front door opens onto a hallway with the master bedroom with a queen bed to one side and a full bathroom with a shower stall to the other. The recently updated open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space is light and airy with sufficient room for your group to enjoy a meal, a game of cards, or an evening with a good movie on the TV. Every HDTV has a Firestick, Chromecast, or Apple TV. Sliding doors to the deck off the kitchen give you easy access to the barbecue. The kitchen is well equipped with many large and small appliances including an ice machine. br brUpstairs has a bedroom with two single beds (with a third trundle bed under one) an open loft bedroom with a double futon overlooking the living area, and a large window overlooking the lake. Every Thursday evening starting in June, the main street is closed for antique car and truck displays which makes for a fun evening out.
