Stylish cottage getaway with stunning water views!

Jennifer was great and the property was ideal, exactly what I had been hoping for.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. So peaceful. Amazing location. Jennifer provided us with all the necessities and was quick to reply to questions. Loved it!!!

A simply relaxed stay.

Very close to all amenities either at Bridgenorth or a short drive to Peterborough. Clean, air-conditioned (thank goodness with the heatwave); comfortable beds, large screen TV, lots of outside deck areas to lounge around including a good dock for any boats 16' or under. BRAND NEW BBQ as well!

Despite density of lakeside houses, it was blissfully quiet. Great location near Peterborough, perfectly optimized between bucolic lake and amenities near town (Central Smith Creamery, Hard Winter Bakery, kayaking Peterborough lift locks). Perfect Dense star gazing at night with Milky Way disk edge brilliantly clear. Stars are notable. If you like stairs, this has plenty and they lead to different deck levels, so you can choose your favorite sunrise, sunset, lunch, dinner or relaxing location. If your have mobility challenges, the stairs might pose a challenge. For us, it was no problem and added to the character of the property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. It is not a fancy or glamorous modern stylish place, it is a lake house, and it works just fine if that if what you are seeking.

The host gave perfect instructions how to get in, she also left some goodies. She provided games that our kids could play. Also the kayaks, lily pad etc. Everything that i ended up forgetting was there so it was perfect. My girls loved it so much and feeding the fishes and ducks. We all didnt want to leave.

We loved the place and it was better than expected. Jennifer was so kind and reachable when needed. Would go back for sure.

Our stay was quiet and relaxing which is what we were looking for. We wished the water access was better with not so much seaweed and rocks but overall the water views are stunning. Our flotation device had a hole in it, the owner was quick to reply when messaged about it but unfortunately we didn't get another one during our stay. We did use the inflatable kayak which was fun! The listing noted a spa tub and fire extinguisher which we did not find. The bar-b-q needed a good cleaning from previous use. We noted it has some holes in the bottom so caution if you are using it, please stay close by it just in case. The cottage is air-conditioned which was great but it did keep freezing up so every so often we had to shut it off then restart it later. We did notify the owner about this. Overall a great cottage with wonderful views, very quiet and relaxing. It was clean and beds were comfortable. It had lots of things you may need such as dishes, dishwasher, soap, towels, linens etc. As mentioned, there are a few things that could be tended to but happy with our stay. The owner was pleasant and very responsive when messaged. Thanks you for a quiet relaxing stay at your tranquil retreat!
