And thats not all, the retreat is conveniently located a short 5 min. drive from beautiful lake Barkley. If water is not your thing, take a stroll through the woods on one of the trails and let nature do its magic. Gather around the outdoor fire ring and enjoy quality conversations while the moon reflects off the lake.brbrParker Lodge is more than just a normal airbnb, it's an all inclusive vacation destination in itself. The 4,000 square ft lodge is located on a totally secluded 26 acre tract of land. It is surrounded by mature hardwood trees with a picturesque 5 acre lake a stone's throw from the cabin. The lake is full of bass, bluegill, and catfish and is perfect for swimming and fishing. We also have a canoe and two kayaks as well as a unique water bike to enjoy. Most of the property is wooded with trails winding throughout for a nature stroll. There is a large, flat, grassy, park-like area where a volley ball net could be set up or yard games enjoyed. There is a small treehouse that the children will love. If you are in need of other entertainment, the lodge is a short 5 min. drive from Lake Barkley and within 30 min. of Venture River water park. Buzzard Rock Marina is just down the road for all your boating needs.br The lodge itself is beautifully crafted with amazing attention to detail. The huge stone chimney extends from the lower level all the way up through the cathedral ceiling with a fire place on both levels. The main floor is very spacious and cozy with a second living area on the lower level. The kitchen is fully stocked to easily accommodate more than 12 people. There is a washer and dryer to use during your stay as well as two fridge/freezers to store your food. The master bed/bath is located on the main floor with a second full bath also on the main floor. The loft area has two built in full size bunks and gives a bird's eye view of the living/dining room. There are three bedrooms and one full bath located on the lower level.br This truly is a beautiful, one of a kind property where the whole family will be able to relax and enjoy being together while experiencing God's wonderful creation.br Please Notebr- We do not accept any responsibility for any accidents that may occur. br-The TV is a smart TV. The Land Between the Lakes, a 170,000 acre National Recreation Area, offers hiking, fishing, horseback riding, off-road trails, and a nature center.brThere are 3 bedrooms, queen, king and two twins on the main floor and 2 baths. King bedroom has en suite and day bed. Lower level has living area and half bathroom, completed remodeled in 2025. The main floor was completely renovated in 2022 and has all new beds and linens. Brand new, well stocked kitchen. Two large covered porches with wood and lake view. The property does not have a dock. Three kayaks are available for use, one tandem and two singles. There is a public boat ramp less than a 1/2 mile from the house. Marinas are 15 minutes away. Lots of wildlife live in the area. We are visited by deer daily and also see toads, blue-tailed skinks, turtles, humming birds and many other birds. Internet is limited in the area, but we have a mobile hot spot with a router. It provides streaming TV and online access. Please note Lake level is controlled by Army Corps of Engineers and is lower during Fall and Winter, still accessible but a further walk.
