They thought of absolutely everything! Nothing that you would need that they don’t have in the room. Chilled glasses, Snacks, s’mores kit, firewood ….Beautiful property felt very serene great view of the lake. They had a cancellation that I got at the last minute and I’m so glad I did. I will definitely be back.

What a comfortable, well-decorated accommodation! We especially appreciated the mini fridge and microwave, the nice patio with a lake view, and access to the golf cart for little jaunts around the community. And we appreciated how responsive the host was to our questions.

Enjoyed our stay so much! Friends stayed in the other room. Rooms are so clean and cozy. Owners are so nice! Enjoyed the fire pit and golf cart ride around the area and all the deer!! Wish we would have stayed more than one night!

Everything was exactly as advertised. The place was immaculately clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. The owner included just about everything one might possibly need during a stay. The bed was comfy as was the power recliner chair. The patio sitting area was delightful too. Highly recommended!

The view of the lake was gorgeous, even got to see deer in the yard, everything was clean and in prestine condition would recommend to anybody that asks

Beautiful property next to Lake Barkley. The owners go the extra mile with the smores kit. We didn't get to stay long, so we never got to use the golf cart. However, we did walk the walking trail around the lake. It is a beautiful area and a quaint small town in the off-season. It is only about 15 minute to Patti's Settlement.

Our stay was perfect. The room was perfect. The owners were very nice and Kuttawa is absolutely beautiful. The owners are so thoughtful in having anything you may need. We will be back!

This property offered the best tiny touches of any I’ve ever stayed in. Though it is a one-bedroom studio, it has things I have never seen in VRBOs like A-tips, cotton balls, a s’mores kit, flashlight and umbrella and frosty mugs in the freezer! Amazing!

Our stay in Kuttawa was perfect like always. We’ve stayed here several times. It’s convenient, clean, cozy, and has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay.

Extremely nice and clean, great hosts, wonderful setup. Would be a great place for two couples traveling together. Having a golf to explore the area is an extra bonus.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. The owners are very nice and think of everything to make your stay perfect! This is a wonderful place to relax after a day on the lake. The golf cart was such a plus!!Definitely will stay again!!

We stayed for one night and really appreciated the cozy, clean space. The hosts provided thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, a cute patio with a fire pit, and a golf cart that made getting around easy.Unfortunately, our short getaway—something we were really looking forward to for some peace—was disrupted by an uncomfortable and accusatory text from the owner. After approaching us while watering flowers on our patio, the owner later texted us saying, “We are going to have an issue with the skunk smell coming from downstairs if the room smells as bad or worse than the hallway… You will be charged for the room sanitizing or their cancellation if that happens.”We strictly followed the house rules and had only briefly passed through the hallway after returning from being away. We even offered to let the owner check the room during our stay to confirm there were no issues. Despite this, the interaction left us feeling unfairly judged and uncomfortable.Sadly, this put a damper on what should have been a peaceful evening. We didn’t feel comfortable enjoying the patio or fire pit as we had hoped and left feeling like our short getaway had been interrupted. The space itself was lovely, but the experience made us hesitant to return.

Lovely place to stay. Quiet and very clean and well-kept town. This place is just what we needed. We loved to golf cart. It was an add-on bonus that makes you feel like part of the community. Looking forward to coming back for a longer stay. Thank you.

This is an amazing place, every detail has been thought of. Loved the included golf cart, made for a nice evening and morning ride around the area. Patio was perfect for relaxing after returnig from dinner and enjoying your morning coffee. Looking forward to a future stay..

Room had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Sandy messaged me early allowing us to check in early - without us even asking. Very clean, Easter decorations were awesome. Loved our stay. Only thing I wish were different - wish it could have been longer.

After our drive, we enjoyed a peaceful walk along Lake Barkley and through the woods around the quaint town. We were greeted with a blue bird and three deer on our walk. Later, we took a short 15-minute drive to Patti’s 1880 Settlement for an amazing dinner. If we had been visiting during the on-season, we would have stopped at Hu-B’s along our walk. That evening, we were able to relax and recharge with a nice hot shower and a comfortable bed. The thoughtful extras, like the stocked Keurig with coffee, tea, and granola bars, were a great touch before we set off for another day of driving.

If you are on the fence about booking this property, DO IT. The hosts are absolutely incredible. Great location right on the water, fast communication and recommendations, beautifully decorated room all decked out for Christmas, and so much more. My husband decided we needed to go home and redo our shower after using this one. There was never ending hot water, a comfortable bed, all the amenities you could ask for. The room was exceptionally clean. We enjoyed our trip to the park and marina on the golf cart. So private and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for! We would definitely book again!!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful environment. Everything we needed for an overnight stay. The cottage was filled with charm and beautiful decor. It was immaculate and smelled good, and we felt at home, and can’t wait to come back for another visit.

The wife and I have stayed here the last two years. this place is always a wonderful place to stay. It has great views and we love that the deer come up to the porch to eat in the evening. We plan to stay next year too.

The owner was great. There were lots of amenities and overall this place was excellent. The bed was comfy and they even provided extra pillows. There was a mini split with nice cool AC and a box fan of needed. The town is golf cart friendly and they provided one for us to roam around the town. We bumped into the owners a couple times and they were welcoming and provided us with some great recommendations. There was plenty of coffee, tea, and water. I couldn't find a single thing we didn't like during our stay. There was outdoor seating both a table and some patio chairs with an ottoman. There's plenty of deer to watch right across the road. The owners had everything laid out and little tips and tricks there's lots of places to walk and enjoy the lake or nature. This place was very cozy honestly it was perfect. We've stayed at lots of vrbos and this one packs a lot of punch. Thanks for having us it was just the relaxing mini vaca we needed

This Old Kuttawa retreat is the perfect, quiet weekend getaway! The studio apartment is well furnished, clean and comfortable. The use of a golf cart makes for easy trips to HuB’s or for just a stroll around town. Highly recommend!
